Ellie's Birthday

Ellie had a great Dora birthday party. We had lots of friends and family come over. Among the gifts was this gem painted by Grandma Cheri. It is a picture of Ellie walking with Dora and Boots the monkey. Great job Cheri!

Elmo

There is one "person" that Ellie will listen to almost unconditionally. That is Elmo! We have a puppet I can put on and she loves it! For dinner when she isn't eating I can don the puppet, get into character, and ask her to eat and she says "ok Elmo" and eats her food. One time Elmo asked for a kiss and she gave him one, but wouldn't give daddy one. Cute girl.

Trip to the park

We went to the park and the MK Nature center next to the park. There was a HUGE fish in the pond. The "Dinosaur" fish was maybe 3 feet long? It was big

Las Vegas

I (Steven) went to Las Vegas this week for a national pharmacy convention. I had a project I presented as a poster presentation along with hundreds of other students. I also got to talk to program directors and current residents at hospitals I'm looking at for postgraduate residencies. We even got to hear Bill Clinton speak as the conference keynote speaker.

Here is Bill just coming on stage-

 My hotel-

There is  a roller coaster on the hotel-

I went down with some classmates Sean (who didn't want to be seen) and Elizabeth

Aubrey sick

This is from several weeks ago when Aubrey was sick. She was swollen up all over. Poor girl, glad she's better now!

Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic

Ellie and I went over to the balloon classic this summer. There were a lot of people there.

Pharmacy 5K

Steven and I ran the a 5K held by his school today. I was really worried about coming in last place, but I didn't! I even passed some people while running. It was pretty fun. Steven did really well and finished in 2nd place! He ran it in under 20 minutes. I'm not sure what my time was yet. I'm still waiting for them to post it. We are thinking that it was pretty close to 30 minutes, which is good for me.

Emily was awesome and watched our girls for us while we went which was very helpful! She also took a quick picture for us. Thank you Emily!
