A new year 2016

We got back to Lubbock in time to celebrate the new year. We had a fun evening with the kids complete with cotton candy Sprite drinks for the kids and delicious nachos and yummy treats. We had a small balloon drop and let the kids watch a Netflix countdown early and put them down. We were all so exhausted from our trip.

Our new year was busy. Braces for Addi and playing in all the snow that came while we were gone.

I just love being a mom to these sweet little kids. It was so nice to have Addi home. She is always wanting to be my big helper and she is amazing with Jace. She loves to help me buckle/unbuckle Jace in the care seat, she loves to help me cook and even will help me fold laundry when she sees me folding. She loves school and was super excited to get back to school.

Her teachers tell me that she loves homework and gets really sad when they don't have homework. She's so funny and just her own person. She does dance once a week and she loves, loves it. They had an amazing recital at the end of January. I loved watching how hard she's worked and how much she loves dancing.

Jace turns 3

Jace requested a Lego cake for his birthday and that's all he wanted. Well, that and Chuck E. Cheese. That boy was the happiest, sweetest, and cutest little boy on his birthday. His dreams all came true that day. He woke up to balloons, Lego decorations on his door, Lego gummies and his cake. We love this little boy and he's brought so much love and happiness to our home!

Christmas 2015

Steve had a six week break so we decided we would go to Idaho to meet my new little niece and attend her blessing and to see Steve's sister's family. We stayed in Utah for a few days while Steve worked and I was able to spend time with some friends and with my in-laws. We went and saw the finished Provo City Center temple. We lived so close for so long that it was fun to get to see it finished. We then went to the Natural Curiosity Museum and that was a blast, it was fun because Steve's dad and Janice were able to come with us and they love to play with the kids.

We ended up leaving a day early to go to Idaho because a big storm was coming in and also our furnace broke at our Idaho Falls house. Luckily we left when we did because it was such bad weather the next few days.

We stayed with Dawn a few nights and then we stayed with Shayla and Kevin.

We loved getting to meet and hold little Kynzlee and be there for her blessing. The kids loved playing with all their cousins and I enjoyed what little time I had with my family. The trip was kinda crazy and chaotic but it was good.

The kids enjoyed their presents and enjoyed the day. We had a nice small lunch.

Saturday, Mom and Dad and Amanda and Dan's family came and we got ready for the baby blessing.

We left Monday and stayed a couple nights in Utah and then drove back all the way Wednesday, it was a long long drive but the kids were such awesome travelers. I've sworn off ever traveling again for Christmas. It was just too chaotic.
