Kindergarten Musical
Tonight was Kensie's big night. The musical. The kids have been practicing for weeks... I literally have all the songs and dance moves memorized. I'm trying desperately to forget them as quick as possible. It was super cute though. She had a little talking part (that I recorded but won't upload, thank you blogger) she was super excited about.
She's in the middle, the only one really pointing
This was part of the "Fireman Shake." Pretty awesome congo-dance moves!
"Blast off! We're riding in a rocket. Blast off, taking our place here is outer space we're cruising the galaxy...."
This was there Pirate song. This part is "Anchors away!"
This was the very end. She's in the middle row, middle of the picture. With hair "as curly as a Princess so that I look beautiful." She was a little annoyed I didn't let her wear makeup... " Performers wear makeup and this is a performance!" Good try little one... good try. I was so proud of her, she did such a great job. And didn't even break the "No waving" rule in the middle of the songs! lol
Easter...Only a little bit late :-)
This Easter we had an Easter Egg Hunt in our backyard with the Taylor's. Kami and Kensie are basically unseperateable. They have "Kensie Tuesday" where Kens goes to Kami's house, and Kami usually come to our house on Saturday. Anyways.... They kids were SO excited to go out and look for the eggs. They had a great time, and good news, no ants got in the eggs to eat the candy!
Mark, 'Lyssie, Clayton and Kensie all searching for eggs
"Just found another one, Score!!"
Kami's basket was full in a matter of seconds
'Lyssie VERY excited about the chocolate egg. She was WAY more interested about what was inside than looking for more eggs :-)
Blake running away from dad trying to take a picture, only to turn around and see this mine. She really hates photos lol
Kensie showing off her basket
Blake more excited about the candy inside the egg than being disgruntled about getting her picture taken.
Clayton and Kensie making sure that every basket only had 25 eggs in it. Just so it was absolutely fair. The Easter Bunny isn't allowed to pick favorites! Then a completely random funny story with Steve that happened on Easter. Living in the South people are always very religious. They are VERY serious about all things Jesus. So I forgot to get chips (who can have a turkey sandwich bar without chips, hello, what was I thinking?!?) so Steve ran to the store for me. At the check out counter the guy asked if his kids were excited for the Easter bunny to come. Steve said, ya, I guess... (check out people will talk to you FOREVER if you're not kind of short with them lol). Then the check out guy goes, "I'm sure she's even more excited about the Messiah." To which Steve replies, " ahh, they're both fake so who cares" and walks out of the store. The look on the check out guys face was priceless and completely shocked and appalled. So was the person behind him. Steve thought it was the funniest joke, which I'll admit I did laugh at, but he seriously could have been shot. People don't joke around with religion. It's not something you do here. Steve's only excuse? He's Steve :-)
First Time for Everything
Theres gotta be a first time for everything, and last weekend... or possibly 3 weekends ago... we tested out running through the sprinkler. At first she wasn't too sure. Then she saw Kens jumping back and forth and laughing so she got a little braver, then decided it was the greatest thing in the whole world!
Here she is trying to bend down and "drink"the water. It was so funny to watch her take a sip or two then gasp as she was getting sprayed right in the face. It totally cracked me up. She kept doing it over and over.
Sitting on the grass, just letting the "rain" fall on her then go away. She was giggling the whole time.
Trying to get a drink again. I think this time she was a little more successful at drinking-then-running so she didn't choke :-)
Blake being her sometimes self...
Most of the time Blake runs away when she sees a camera or you ask her to smile. She HATES getting her picture taken- as opposed to Kensie who will smile and pose for hours. But today she decided to have a little fun and relax!
This is her cupboard door with her cups and stuff in it. It's the only one without a lock :-) She insists on having it shut at all times, unless of course she's hiding in it and then it just has to be mostly shut.
She also makes this "mmmmmmming" sound when she wants a kiss. It's actually kind of cute. She insists on having me kiss any owie she may have because lets be honest. I'm a magical kisser.

It's official! (No I am not pregnant)
I guess it's safe to post now. The Atlanta Jones' are become the Salt Lake City Jones'.... Steve is getting transferred and we are moving as soon as the house sells... So if you know anyone who is looking for a really great 4 bedroom house in a really great neighborhood, with a really great 3/4 acre yard... sigh.... then let me know :-)

Kensie's Class Party
I finally decided it was time to catch up before the end of the year... hehe... New Year's Resolution? Don't neglect the blog... we'll see how long it lasts. There's lots of new posts, so scroll down!
Kensie's class party was today. As you can tell, Dad and Blakes were very excited to be there...
Kensie got to make frames, with snowmen, not penguins, but it turned out cute anyways :-)
