Create A Smile - May Moodboard

  I'm joining the current mood board challenge at Create A Smile.  My project features the Create A Smile Cool Cuts Summer Florals die set. I started by inking the Create A Smile Spring Garden stencil onto blue card stock.  The panel was trimmed to 4 square, the dies were arranged and a sentiment from Hero Arts added.  I finished the card with a few gems from Stampin' Up! Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #23 and A Blog Named Hero - June Monochrome

  I'm playing along with a couple of Hero Arts challenges tonight featuring their May Kit of the Month, Water Flow slimline stencil and Sea You set PLUS a fun reef die.   I started the card base with sponging various blue distress inks using the Water Flow Slimline Stencil.  The reef die was cut from Hero Arts cardstock.  The fish and starfish were stamped onto a scrap of watercolor paper which has been splattered with blue inks. I LOVE how this turned out!  What's more fun than enjoying the ocean in the Sun! House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - #339 AG + Optional Slimline Card

  I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday challenge with a mini slim design.  I have used a sweet hopper image from the new Stampendous Spring Mini Clear Set.  It's SO sweet and perfect for my new baby card. The image was colored with Tombow markers and cut with Spellbinder dies.  The sentiment is also from the Spring Mini Clear set.  I used the current MFT sketch challenge design for the mini slim design.  Designer papers are from Pebbles Lullaby paper pad. Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #21 - Bring on Spring

  I'm playing along with the current challenge at Hero Arts - Bring on Spring.  I recently purchased the March 2017 Hero Arts Monthly Kit.  I LOVE the whimsical animals and fun vegetable images.  The best surprise??  The "garden" die!! Oh my, what fun I'm having with it.   All of the images were stamped onto watercolor paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  You can see how the veggies and bunnies fit into the "garden" die.  The fence die was also included in the kit.  The grass die is from My Favorite Things.  The base panel was sponged with Distress Inks and an MFT sunray stencil. Art Impressions - AI Squared Challenge

  This week's challenge at Art Impression is Squares.  I recently won the adorable Sloth-some set and couldn't wait to create a fun birthday card.  I used the Out-of-the-Box technique and paper pieced the balloon.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and the background was masked and sponged with a scallop die.  The finished card size is 3.5 square. Di's Digi Design Challenge - Flowers Everywhere

  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi with Flowers Everywhere featuring the adorable Daffodil Delivery .  I created a fun Spring scene with papers from Memory Box and dies from MFT, Lawn Fawn (sentiment) and Memory Box Stitched Clouds. The image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I can almost smell the daffodils.... they remind me of Spring! SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #77

  I'm joining the March Mix It Up Challenge with the color prompt.  I LOVE this sweet retired Sugarcut called Homescape.  The sky was sponged with Memento inks for the color prompt. The sentiment is from SugarPea Pretty Peonies set. The landscape die was perfect for the mini slimline design (6 x 3.25). Di's Digi Challenge - Shaped Cards

  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digital Challenge with a shaped card.  I started by coloring Di's Strawberry Tea image with Copic Markers.  It was fussy cut and layered onto Spellbinder Big Scalloped Circles die. The bright red Strawberries give me hope of Spring and Summer weather! Di's Digi Designs - It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas Challenge

  The current Di's Digi Designs Challenge is It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.  I'm joining the fun today with one of Di's adorable digital images called Winter Carols. The image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered to the background with dimension tape.  I created a galaxy background for another card recently and had this piece left.  I love the effect! I created the snowy scene with Stitched Cloudline and Country Landscape die cuts from Memory Box.  Wink of Stella was applied to the edges for sparkle.    The card was finished with silver stars and a sentiment from Stampin' Up! Di's Digi Challenge - Summer Fun

I'm joining the current Summer Fun challenge at Di's Digi with this sweet digital image called Cherry Blossom Mice.  The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! whisper white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.  The cherries were lightly watercolored with distress ink. I searched my digital and rubber sets for a Summer sentiment.  I finally came across this stamp from a set from The Craft's Meow called Life is a Carnival.  Sadly, they are now out of business. The image was die cut with Spellbinders Labels Nine die cut.  I'm trying to pull out some of my older shaped dies and use them!  This little scene fit perfectly!  Papers are from American Crafts Happy Traveler paper pad. Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge #8 Small Joys

I'm joining the current Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge - Small Joys.  We have been asked to use the smaller images and dies from our Hero Arts sets.   I pulled out the January 2019 monthly kit and created a clean and simple one layer design with a few of the smaller images and dies.  The clouds were created by masking and sponging distress inks then spritzed with water. The images were colored and die cut.  A wood mounted Hero Arts stamp A2460 Precious Thank You finishes the card. Di's Digi Design Challenge - Die Cuts and/or Punches

I'm joining the current Die Cuts and/or Pnnches challenge at Di's Digi Challenge.  I used the adorable "Puppy" digital image to create a fun scene with various dies.   I started by printing and coloring the image with Copic Markers.  The sky was sponged with Blue Danube Memento ink using a cloud die cut stencil.   The scene was built using the a sun die from Lil' Inker Designs, Fence and Grass dies are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and the cloud die is from My Favorite Things.  For a little added texture, the cloud was cut from white felt. My Favorite Things Sketch and Birthday Project Challenges

I pulled out a favorite MFT set tonight to play along with the sketch and birthday challenges.  The current MFT birthday project challenge is to use circles.  My card features the adorable Warm & Fuzzy Friends and coordinating Trail Mix paper pad.  The images were stamped onto watercolor paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.    The base panel was dry embossed with a woodgrain folder from The Paper Studio.  MFT Radiant Sun and Happy Birthday Circle frames were used for the circle panels.  I finished the card with enamel dots and a coordinating sentiment from the same set. My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #481 and Birthday Project Challenge

I finally made it to the craftroom this afternoon to finish a card for a couple of the MFT challenges.  My card features the retired Lily Die-namics from MFT.  To add dimension, I lightly inked the edges of each piece before assembling the flowers. Art Impressions Challenge #276 - Movers & Shakers

I'm joining the current Movers & Shakers challenge at Art Impressions with a retired set from the Shake Your Booty line called To The End.  I love the happy expression on the pups face! The pup was stamped onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers and a blending pen.  I couldn't resist using the dog house die from Honey Bee with the pup.  He was the perfect size! The "booty" was popped up with an AI mini action wobble.  The coordinating birthday sentiment was computer generated.   The finished card size is 4.25 square.  This will be going into my Birthday card stash for a dog lover in my family.
