Happy Thursday blogger friends! Blogger was acting up this morning, but I prevailed! I created a shaker ATC for the current House Mouse & Friends Challenge to add sparkle. I have recently been experimenting with altered playing cards which was inspired by @StampyMom5 on Instagram. For my project I began by using a square die cut to remove the center of the card. The shaker was created with embellishment packaging from my stash. Little bits of book paper and Gelli print tissue paper were adhered for the "frame". A small amount of Ranger Opaque Crackle Texture Paste was applied to the corners. Of course, the main focus of the project is little Mudpie & Muzzy! This is an older Stampendous cling stamp called Cookie Crumbles (2018). It was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and adhered to the card with a distressed leaf die and gold thread. Are you ready for Fall weather? This cute fox image was included with the August new release Christmas Peeks stamp set. Today I'm repurposing this set for a Fall Birthday card. Getting Started I began by trimming the Pebble Beach card stock A4 base panel to create my scene. The front panel has been dry embossed with a leaf folder from my stash then distressed with inks and paint. A glitter tape was applied to the edge. Plaid designer paper was adhered to the inside of the card. Stamp and Fussy Cut The fox image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers. It was fussy cut and the greenery trimmed so that the fox could be seen "peeking" around the edge of the card. I chose to pair the fox with Fall colors and thought it would be adorable as a Happy Birthday card!
