This is one of those days i can't wait till its over. I had to go to the dentist for crown lengthening. Didn't really know what it entailed, but my friend Rebecca had to go to the dentist too. So we coordinated out appointments and watched each others kids. Well at least that is how it was suppose to go. My apt was 1st so i dropped off the kids at settlers park with the stroller only to meet them back there i an hour to switch so Rebecca could go to her apt. and then lunch after for my birthday. One of our traditions. Well my apt. we longer and hour longer. Who knew it was basically oral surgery and i have 4 stitches, a dead mouth and 4 advil later. I could hardly talk. Plus my phone died!! So she took 4 boys to her apt. I didn't know where her apt was and couldn't call her. I had an idea where it was, but still couldn't find her to help relieve her with the 4 boys. Finally i found a random guy at an office building walking to his car and asked him to use his phone to try and call, but she didn't answer my call (tried 3 times) and i left a message to meet here at the local library that was close. So i waited and waited and finally we meet. I was in tears my mouth hurting and feeling so guilty that she ended up taking all 4 with her!! So the pix of the boys with suckers are how she bribed them to be so good at her dental apt and Tian got to ride in my "monster" truck and we headed off to Carls Jr. to eat. i had a milk shake!! Sorry to the Bledsoes for my dang DENTAL apt. I do hate the dentist if you didn't know. I should of just married one for the amount of work that i have had done or maybe i should just find one to trade with although that would take me till i am dead to repay them or maybe i should just be grateful i have dental ins and max it out year after year!! Anyway I am soo grateful for Rebecca and being such a good friend and being so understanding!! That is why she is my BESTIE!!!

ps my new idea is that offices should have a daycare at offices so you don't have to find a babysitter to watch your kids!! Fred Meyer has one for heaven sakes.

Freezer Corn

One of the BEST things about marring Scott is the benefits of being in the family and the delicious crops from the farm. I will be honest i don't know the difference between corn and types and old vs new vs fresh. It's corn on the cob and taste delicious. About 6 years ago while i was fighting fire i came home from a fire late and Scott had frozen corn!! WOW was i impressed. it only took me 6 years later to finally do it myself. Thanks to Larry for shucking the corn and Barbara and Mimi giving me a quick lesson on blanching and freezing. It only took me less than 2 hours 9after the kids went to bed) and i had all this for the freezer. Scott was impressed and now we will have yummy corn all winter!!

Quick trip to Burley

Shaydon absolutely loves the farm. He talks about it often and really knows more about farming, equipment and how things work than i do. He tells his friends all about tractors especially green tractors the BEST ones and the fields, talking on the radio. Thanks to grandpa gerratt, uncle todd and cousin Jake for all of his knowledge. Grandpa was going out plowing when we were here so shaydon pack a few snack and some water and was off to the field with grandpa. I pick him up for lunch with mimi and papa at Al's!! It was a short trip but did lots today. Thanks everyone for a fun filled day!!!

Rebecca has a client who volunteers out at the birds of prey and she meet us for a personal tour!! how lucky r we!! I learned so much and the kids did too! Shaydon talks about how every bird comes from the birds of prey. Thanks Rebecca for the pictures and fun morning. Slater enjoyed himself too at 3 months old!!

California here we come!!

Mom was very brave to travel by herself (on her birthday) with two boys, but they did GREAT!! Shaydon as been wanting to go on a plane for i don't know how long!! It's all he talks about. So we asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said to go on a plane ride, so that is what we did! Poor nana get all of us for each of our birthdays. Mine 1st, Shaydon's 2nd and Scott's 3rd. We are going to have a fun 10 days.

Thanks to Nana for picking us up at the airport & the trouble we had filling out our lost bag report (an 1.5 hours later) and a $50.00 parking fee, ugh!!

Yep they lost it, all 4 bags!! plus i didn't have record of them...to make it worse, story below

okay funny story but not at the time.

I am a little OCD when it comes to traveling and keeping things where they belong. On our last leg from Vegas to Burbank we has an additional security check and had to get our our ID's aka our passports. Which are kept in my purse with the luggage tags that are stapled to the folder with the boarding passes. I set them in the umbrella of the stroller to have them out and available for the extra security check. So as i am walking and getting the stroller to the area before boarding the plane i have shaydon on the ground holding slater and my carry on bags just sitting there. I get the stroller put away and very thing and everyone loaded and get to our seats. FYI it a FULL flight. I realize that i left the passports in the umbrella of the stroller. So i think to myself what to do? I can't leave the kids and fight the rows of people filing on the plane so i just hit the call button for a flight attendant to come to me!! After about 10 minutes still no one has come and then i hear my name being called over the speaker so i turn tot he front of the plane and wave to get her attention that's ME!! So she brings me my passports that got turned in and all i could think about was how lucky i was to get the passports back. Didn't think that i would need the luggage tags that are stapled to the folder until i was looking for it in filling out the lost luggage report. UGH i didn't have them...no proof of me checking luggage let alone 4 of them. Well we did track all 3 of them down, (1 lost somewhere) but not after some confusion and supervisor help. It ws so confussing because i also had to check in the stroller on each leg and that was just too much for them to follow. So to say the least i had no idea what was coming to me at 11:00pm that night. whew...

its always a CRAZY week when we come to the fair. i have a love hate relationship with it. i love the memories, friends, fun and food of when i was a kid, but now i just come to work!! so most of my 12+ hours days are in the trailer making salads. i don't really like the kids down there because they are too hard to watch and work at the same time, but dad or papa loves them there so he can see them. the boys just get ice cream all day to eat. why wouldn't they like it! thank to mimi, grandma and grandpa gerratt, todd and brenda for helping me watch them. not only does shaydon come to burley but he goes to the fair, See's both (GREAT) grandma and grandpa's, aunts and uncles, goes to the farm and al's pizza. It's defiantly a full week and we rest for DAYS after!! i love that family is so close to help with them. thanks sooo much. another year done, check!

Thanks to Eric and Yvonne for inviting us to McCall for a nice relaxing weekend. I brought up 4 projects and finished them all by Saturday! Amazing what i can get done when the kids play with their cousins. It was such a fun time and GREAT food too. I even slept in. Hope to do it again next summer!
