Eating Out!!!

We went out for dinner and Sophia had a good time. She's sitting up in her very own seat now. It's crazy taking a baby along to a restaurant. She did very well.

Tuesday Morning Breakfast

Made myself oatmeal for breakfast...added a few strawberries and a dab of maple syrup. Yum yum!

Crazy Hair Day

Between naps in her bed and hats on her head...there was no way to get her hair to stay down.

A walk in the snow

We walked to the nearby Mall. We bundled Sophia up as best as we could. Hopefully her faced didn't get too cold. Even with all this snow everyone is outside and walking around. I've seen some teenagers out with short sleeves and no coats. 30 degree weather must be warm to these people.

Marshmallow suit

This is what we put Sophia in when we go outside. We call it her marshmallow suit. This is her after long long day out to the Mall.

The snow in Ottawa

They say the snow won't melt until April or May.

Soothing my aching toe

With all the packing and moving around I thought I was doing pretty good, until I whacked my toe on one of my suitcases while I was putting things away. Sophia tried to kiss it better. I don't think it is broken but it sure is bruised. Good thing I packed my first aid kit with my magic healing ointments :-)

Traveling with Sophia

It's been a while since we've written. We've been traveling. Sophia went home for her great great grandfather's 100th birthday and then we left the country for Canada. We will be here for a while living in a hotel and watching the snow plows out side our room. There are piles of snow every where and they say it won't melt until April or May. She's a good traveler. She's flown 4 times already in 8 months.

Sophia learned to crawl since the last time we wrote and she is starting to sit up all by herself. We celebrated her 9th month birthday yesterday by eating out at good ol' Canadian McDonald's.
