May 2009
May was a pretty slow month for us. Talen got cast for new dafo's (boots) and should recieve them next month. Mother's Day is always fun! I got to be completely lazy for one whole day. (Actually, I think I used that day to catch up on my blog.) We made another visit to SLC for the Nutritional Clinic and then up to Idaho for my mom's scrapbook conference. This was, I think, the first time I didn't bring Kennedy. She was truly missed, but I got so much more done. The month ended with my attendance at our Stake Youth Conference. It was really amazing. They arranged for the youth to work on and complete extreme home make-overs (front/back yards) at 4 or 5 different families in our area. It was an awesome and spiritual experience. I just love working with the youth!!!

KiKi Graduates from Preschool . . . Again!!!
She finally did it. She graduated from preschool for good. KiKi got to have three years of preschool and she is completely ready for Kindergarten. However, we have been blessed that she has had such a good preschool to go to. Miss Kami has been awesome. I owe her, not only for teaching Kennedy so much, but she has been my personal bus-ing system too. She picks KiKi up and brings her home almost every school day. Her graduation was so cute. They sang songs that they had learned all year long then they each got a diploma and a little scrapbook that her teacher had made her. What a lucky girl!!!

My Haircut
I decided to donate my hair again. This will be my third time. I was going to wait until after Halloween to cut it, but I was just getting sick of planning my day around what I was going to do with my hair. So, I cut off another 14 inches and am going to send it to Locks of Love. I also decided that I may as well add a little color while I was at it. I decided on dark brown with some red. I love how it really shines red when I am out in the sun. I absolutely love the color, but am not too sure of the cut yet. I always tend to feel that way though. Oh well, my hair grows so fast, before you know it it will be down to my butt again.
