Pumpkin Patch

I love Fall! I love the weather, the trees, the pumpkins, the hayrides, even the football although I haven't been to a game this year. I love it all! Last Monday, Easton, Lawson and I went to a pumpkin patch in Quitman with my MOPS group. It was great! There were so many things to see and do there. Both boys had a great time and we were all wore out by the time we left. They both fell asleep before we even got out of town to come home. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip. I took my new small camera I got for my birthday this summer. I think I probably took over 100 pictures and these were the only ones of them looking at the camera. My camera takes the picture about 2 seconds after you push the button. ---Not good for little ones. I have some really funny ones though of them making really weird faces. Must look on the bright side, you know?? Anyway, here are the decent ones....

This was Easton pumping water to push a little ducky down this long trough. He has talked about the "ducky game" for a few days. The little Indian lady told us all about what it was like to live a long time ago as an Indian.

They had 2 tepees that the kids could go in and walk around.

They had lots of animals there. Easton always stood with his hands behind his back when looking at the animals. He absolutely loves animals but doesn't want to get too close.

Finally out of the stroller, Lawson was happily running free!!

This is Easton digging for "dinosaur eggs".
He found one and now has a tiny baby dinosaur of his own.

I thought they looked so sweet inspecting their pumpkins. I think Lawson is more interested in his big glob of dirt that he later decided to eat. : )

My two precious pumpkins!!!

Chuck E What?

We were sitting at the kitchen table and I was feeding Lawson supper. Easton said, "Tomorrow we are going to go to Chuck E Jesus." I said, "What?! Where are we going?" He said, "Chuck E Jesus. They have lots of cool games there."

Squeaking by in Style

I just wanted us all to take a moment and appreciate the adorable-ness of Lawson's new Wee Squeaks. First of all, I am just so thankful to finally find some shoes that will fit Lawson's little fat feet. He has been shoe-less for quite sometime and had yet to walk in shoes until last Tuesday. I had looked everywhere in Searcy except Tangerine Turtle where I finally found these. They are so adorable, they fit his feet, and they squeak when he walks - which makes his face light up with glee. I am also able to know where he is at all times. The squeak is really sweet right now but I am sure I will be taking the squeaker out soon. A little goes a long way, you know. : ) Thank you Lord for shoes that fit!!

But I want to FLY!

Last week, Nana bought Easton a Batman costume and I bought Easton a Spiderman costume. I am not sure which he will be for Halloween, but everyday since then he has worn one of the costumes around the house most of the day and insisted we call him the proper name (Batman Easton or Spiderman Easton). Last week, he put on Batman and was determined to fly. I told him he could go outside and run around and "fly". I thought he would be happy to see his cape flying in the wind. I was wrong. Bless his heart, he tried everything to fly. He was jumping off the steps, off the porch, but with no luck of flying. He was getting more and more frustrated. I tried to explain that people don't fly except when they are in an airplane or helicopter, but nothing was getting through. "But I want to FLY!" he kept saying.

This was Lawson on the inside looking out at Batman. He wanted to join them so badly but the ground was too wet.

Eventually Mat went outside and Easton resolved to just be Batman playing golf. Check out that swing!

Playing Catch Up

Well, I am back to the world of blogging. I am so far behind I feel like I don't know where to begin. I think I am going to try to do a series of posts to get caught up. I may not write as much I as would normally but I'll try to hit the highlights.

Lawson is now 11 months old, he finally has teeth, he is walking like a pro and turning more and more into a big boy everyday. I missed his 10 month post but I will do a proper 11 months post soon.

Here are some pictures to help me get up to speed.

Adorable Baby Lawson

Need I say more.....

This is Easton's "Pirate Snack Party". He came up with it on his own and wanted to have decorations and everything.
This is the first time Lawson climbed on the Zebra all on his own. This is one of those "hand me down" toys from Aunt Katie. Thanks Aunt Katie! It is a big hit at our house.

Sleeping Handsome.

Watching tv in Big Brother's bed

Lawson's first time to sit facing forward in the car. Yes, I know he is not a year old yet, but he weighs 24 pounds and he was literally being stuffed into his baby car seat. He is much happier now.

This is one of Lawson's favorite places to climb into and play. It is underneath the entry way table.

Playing in the laundry basket. I am so glad they love each other!!
