So I just have to share my day with little Wil today - he's getting too big!
This morning, I was holding him and he started starring at my hair, then petting it. He said, "ooooh, prrriiidddeeee" over and over. How good does that make you feel? (It was NO WHERE NEAR pretty, by the way!)
Then, we spent an afternoon while Leo was napping sitting on the kitchen floor. I gave him a bowl of grapes and blueberries, which he promptly dumped on the floor - yet continued to eat. Hey, I *think* I mopped yesterday! So, I brought my can of split pea soup, which I had gotten at the grocery store FOR FREE, down on the floor too. Wil wanted some, so I let him try it. He took his bite, then crouched down and kissed my tummy. I laughed, so he did it again - stood up, took a bite, bent down, kissed my tummy and laughed. Repeat 100 times and I laughed each time!
He has also *discovered/learned* that he can get mad. So he screams - LOUDLY! (Wow, just like another little boy who lives in our house......hmmmm, imagine that!) His cry is so fake, it makes me laugh.
I chased him 1,000,000 times today - down the sidewalk, "Don't go in the street!" across the park, etc. etc. That little booger is getting FAST!
He also climbs up the jungle gym at the park and goes down the slide - by HIMSELF on his tummy. At first, it gave me a heart attack, but then I just kept a watchful eye. However, now he has decided that he can sit like the other kids do, except getting into a sitting position with your feet out front is not easy, so I'm back to my heart attack mode. He now also tries to walk up the steps instead of crawl........sigh. He's a monkey!
He is talking all the time. He is signing "more," "milk," "bird" and "ball" although they all look very similar. He says "pretty (priiiidddeee), oooooh, wow, dada(which refers to me, dad, and Leo), duck, bird, and dog. This kid loves animals and will sit and look at a book for 15 minutes- pointing and "oooh-ing" to himself. He also really enjoys kicking around the soccer ball!
It's so amazing to watch him grow......just wish (literally) he would slow down a bit! But......he's got a big brother to keep up with!

Wil's first haircut
This is our family in the Laveen Community Parade last weekend. Our church's float was "Laveen is the apple of our eye" so we decorated Leo's bike with apples. It was pretty "vintage Leo" He had junk all over his bike, which he loves and begs us everyday to leave it on. Out of laziness, it's still there :-) We were proud of him though, he rode his bike the whole way! Wil waved at everyone and was pretty cute too!
We visited the zoo today. Wil was so funny - just in awe of the animals. He now says "nice, pretty, wow, and oooh" and he used those words often! The boys also had a blast climbing on this tree!
Wil in his stroller....
Watchin the zebras - Wil's favorite!
Grandpa tried to share his popsicle with Wil - but it didn't work too well....Wil ate the entire thing!
Wil's first haircut, which he needed because we were just getting too many "cute little girl" comments! He was such a good boy - he didn't cry at all! At the end, his reward was his brother stealing his "prize!" The haircut place gives the kids a token to put in a machine for the prize. Leo had fun doing that part :-)

Our resident comedian was found this way during nap one day! When I left him, he was in his regular clothes. He decided to change those out for 8 pairs of underwear and some PJ pants on top. All I can say is, way to protect your penis, kiddo (see below!)
