I know, I am so doom and gloom! If you are looking for hope, don't look my way this week! I hear there is going to be a nice heafty tax hike on small businesses announced tomorrow. Just ignore me and check out goggle boy, and crazy hair lady below! Oh, and doesn't Wally look like he is thirteen? He just looks so grown up to me lately! Almost six years old! I must be getting old too. I am ornery in my old age, aren't I?

Busy Doing....
I haven't posted in a few weeks. I was sitting here trying to figure out what I have been doing that has been exciting, and let's just say the list is a short one. My surgery went well, no cancer to report. Yay! Other than that, I have done a lot of running kids around, filling in for sick people at church, procrastinating some of the duties of my new calling, procrastinating my visiting teaching for the month ( I finally took care of those things today, that is why I don't feel guilty posting), oh, and my very favorite, watching our money dwindle in our mutual funds and 401K. Super times. But my kids are pretty funny, and that has been a nice distraction from wondering if we will be able to eat in retirement. Eating is overrated, right?

Cutie Pie
Will is a sweet little boy, there is no doubt about it. His prayers at night go something like this...
"Please bless Grandpa that his cancer can go away."
Please bless Grandpa that he can get a band-aid for his cancer.
Please bless Grandpa that he can walk with his cancer and his band-aid.
Please bless me to go fishing, Please bless me to catch a fish,
And please bless me to reel it in.
And please bless Grandpa that his cancer can go away."
Will may single handedly cure Grandpa. There is no more sincere prayer out there. He is an example of praying unceasingly.

My Little Superhero
Wally saw this outfit on the clearance rack at H&M and talked me into it. He really loves wearing it around...backward.
Last week I re-painted Wally's room. I hung his map of the world back up on his wall and asked him if he liked it. Here is how the rest went.
Wally: "No mom, hang it on the other wall."
Me: "I am going to get you a new dresser, so we will hang something else up above it on this wall.
Wally: "But that wall is where the big t.v. is going to hang."
I had no idea he had such big plans for his space. Wall mounted flat screens... that is a tall order for a five year old.
This morning in the car Wally told me that when he is scared he screams like a girl. He then demonstrated.
I am sure Del is just hoping he doesn't throw like one.
P.S. Mom, my new couch is in the picture, as is the ottoman. So now you can see it! Can't beat 60% and 90% off! I love a good deal!
