Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! 

 

It is a special month for us here at the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog as we celebrate our 100th Challenge! Our theme this month is ADD IT UP and here is what you need to know to join us...

*In celebration of our 100th challenge, use the list of items below, compiled with its own point value, to CREATE A PROJECT THAT TOTALS TO EXACTLY 100 POINTS.

Please Note: Each item used would count as 1. So for ex., if you used two patterned papers, then EACH one would be worth 10 points, for a total of 20. If you used three different die cut pieces, then each would be worth 15 points for a total of 45. If you used 5 gem stones, each one would count as 1 point, giving you a total of 5 points. Glitter would count as one item overall so you will get 5 points for using glitter, even if you use it in more than one spot; same idea with glossy accents. Again, the same idea with stitching—regardless of how many stitches you may have, if you use stitching at all, it will just count for 5. Check out the lists below each team member to get an idea of what we're talking about. If you aren’t sure or have any questions be sure to ask.

Only entries where the designer has taken the time to colour the SD image will qualify. This challenge will end on June 14th at 8:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The list of winners will be published in a separate post. Winners will get to choose their images from those in the store. Be sure to check for the winner announcement if you have entered this challenge.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! We hope that you have enjoyed a wonderful holiday and that you had the opportunity to spend some time with family and friends during this most special time of year.

We're back today as it is the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what we're looking for this time around:

*create a project suitable for any December or January holiday, i.e., Chanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, St. Lucia Day, Winter Solstice, New Year's Day, etc.*

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had 19 festive entries so far these past two weeks but we'd love to see some more!

Our incredibly talented women are back to showcase their amazing creative work featuring projects related to our Happy Holidays theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Fun in the Sun and here is what you need to know to join us...

Just a few months ago we were begging for the sun and some heat. Now many of us are begging for those colder temps again! I'm not sure if it is the result of the tropical storms, some other weather phenomena or just plain global warming but WARM it most definitely is in many parts of the world right now. We've definitely entered the lazy days of summer here in North America and other areas in the northern hemisphere.

Just think...sun bathing (make sure you have extra SPF on!), cool waters, splashing in the waves or the sprinkler, making sand castles, BBQs, picnics, camping, chasing fireflies at dusk, having fun outdoors and more! There are so many ways to have fun in the sun. That is why this month, we want to see your projects with any of the wonderful symbols associated with summertime. If you don't have the need for a summer card, that is okay too. As long as the items you use can be associated with summer, that is perfectly fine. For ex., you might want to use a sun image to create a card to bring a little bit of sunshine into someone's day. However you go about your task, it is time for some FUN IN THE SUN!
