Some of the Benefits of Scrapbooking and Cardmaking for me:

It's cheaper than therapy
It is an art--a way to express myself.
It is a stress reliever. After doing a card or page I feel better able to handle what life brings.
It helps me to remember occasions in the lives of special people to me.
It helps me to journal events. It is a way to do my personal family history.
It helps me remember and think about the subject for which I am creating. If it is a person, I feel closer to them. If it is an event, like a wedding, it can strengthen my marriage by helping me remember the special moments that brought us together.
It can be extremely beautiful to look at. Uplifting! Inspiring!
I just enjoy it tremendously--in other words, it makes me smile and feel happy!
