Ahh Halloween! This is our little Giraffe! He was such a sweet little guy. He did pretty well with me painting his nose (all three times!) He was pretty social with everyone. It was a blast! We went to a trunk or treat at Tyler's parent's ward, my sister in law's ward, and then, finally ours. He was so patient, it was great!
Connor held his own little basket for the candy. No worries though, he hasn't eaten any of it, though I worry because I HAVE! ARGH! It was awfully windy on Halloween though, so we are suffering the consequences now. Connor, Tyler, and I are all sick! But for the pictures it was worth getting sick (well, it was worth ME getting sick, the other two not so much:( ARGH!)

Ahhh, yeah. We cut down a HUGE cedar tree from the front yard. We were worried because the power lines went right through it, so we called the power company and had them disconnect our power for the day. Yeah, it was a scary time watching my dear husband and father of my child climb up 35+ feet to cut down such a thing, but he insisted that it needed to happen. It was funny though because after we started chopping it down, 4-5 of our neighbors started chopping down their trees. I guess it was inspiring. I just thought it was scary (and sad. I had a rough time seeing such a pretty tree being cut down, but I was promised 4 other trees for the back yard next year!)!

And this last one is just another of Tyler on the Scaffolding. I seriously got sick watching him climb up there and using the chainsaw! AHH! I was SURE he was going to fall. No worries though, he survived and the tree is gone (well, all but a small stump anyways)!

Tons of pics to make up for my neglect:(

So here is Connor, at a place called Greenbluff near here. It is a bunch of "farms" that grow produce that the public can go and pick. It is so fun. And there are TONS of things for everyone to do (lots of play things for kids), horse drawn carriages, hay rides, tractor rides, etc. This is Connor in a "sandbox" that was filled with dried peas instead of sand. It was sad though cause he kept on trying to eat the peas. Being the mean mom I am, I took them out of his hands when going towards his mouth:( Poor baby! And when we got home from this outing, when I changed the poor kid, he had tons in his pockets and two in his diaper! It was pretty funny!

And this is Connor and I outside of the "sandbox". I had so much fun taking Connor up there to pick fruit and enjoy the sunshine, and see the animals, etc, etc. I must tell everyone that they should go if ever in the area. It is so much fun! This summer we picked strawberries, and you can pick peaches, pears, blueberries, blackberries, apples, apricots, necterines, and in the fall time there are pumpkins and more apples and pears, etc, etc.

So, can YOU see the guilt he is feeling? Hummm? I sure can! I thought it was so funny to see him make the mess, but this look he kept giving me when I was trying to take the picture almost makes me think he is trying to make everyone else that see's this picture think he is sorry for the mess...I just don't know..in the next couple of pictures you will see the joy he found in making the mess:) And with his sweet and handsome face, how could you get mad?

I loved watching him MAKE the mess, and he did it so sweetly. WHen I first gave him the bitterroot cookie thing (appropriate for babies his age), he was unsure about what he should this? Should I eat it? Okay, if you insist:)
Ahhh, this is one with the cookie in his mouth. It was just SOO stinking messy! He had such a blast eating the darn thing, it did take him FOREVER to eat it, but he was just so funny trying to stick the whole cookie in his mouth at once. It made me laugh:)

Yep, I even made him lay down in the pumpkin patch. Yes, he did try eating the leaves, but I caught him in time, no worries;) It was so nice that day, and thank goodness we went when we did because it froze the next weekend and I guess that really hurt the patch and fruit up there. I was just glad that we were able to get these pictures:) Isn't he just so handsome?

Here's Connor in the pumpkin patch, I got the props for a cute picture, and he is wanting to eat the leaves. He did get a couple, but I figured it was a green leafy veggie, right? Just kidding. And he kept on lifting up his right leg over and over. Poor kid. Stuck trying to pose for mommies pictures...argh, if only I knew what I was doing..grrr..

The apples are sooo far away..I think he is trying to figure out how on earth he was going to get the apples to his mouth....hummm..So this is our little guy tasting the fruit of our labors, he really liked the apples, it was funny to watch his face after eating the little bits and pieces of the apples.
So these are some more pics from going to green bluff. The little pill wouldn't look up (yes, the sun was out, and yes, I shouldn't ask so much, but these would be SOOO much cuter if he were actually looking at the camera (yes, he is looking in the one, but only cause I started whistling, and yeah, I ask too much). That is his cousin, Evelyn, and the hatted fellow is Bob. At least Bob was looking at the camera;) We had such fun at the farm that day, picking apples and all that. It was a new experience taking Connor with me, and Tyler and I have gone in the past, but a baby makes it a little tougher, but so much fun:)

Poor Bob! No one is paying any attention to him. Connor kept wanting to eat the straw they are sitting on. EVERYTHING goes into his mouth these days! ARGH! You can't really tell, but while we were at Green Bluff, Connors hear was spiked, he looks SO much older and more mature when we spike his hair:( It makes me sad, but happy he is so doggon cute:) He likes getting into EVERYTHING and wants to touch EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME! ARGH! Anywho! Here's to the next picture:)

SO, this is how I found connor one morning! Actually, I still find him this way in the mornings. Sad, I know:( But he makes his way to the edge of the crib most nights...should I be worried?!?! The little guy is so sweet still, even when going to bed. What would we do without our little man?:)

We went to Connor's doctor again today, yeah, we are still supposed to stay at home and away from people for a full 7 days (until this Friday at least) as he is still wheezy and coughing:( I'm just hoping this will help his body become stronger (at least his immune system) so we won't have to go through too many of these things. Oh well. Tyler and I are both doing fine so far, I guess we are supposed to wait 3-5 days to see if we have symptoms and such. I'm thinking we are fine. Anyways, just trying to update everyone:) Thanks for everyone's love and thoughts:) We love you all:)

Swine Flu :(

Aren't my little men so doggon cute! It melts my heart! They have been through a TON and thank goodness they were both too tired to get a picture of me! I have been a mess! Trying to keep the household somewhat organized and clean, working, and taking care of my family has been a little much this past week.

Poor Tyler and Connor were sooo tired! It has been quite a week. Let me fill you in on the crazieness I have had to face alone because Tyler has been at his uncle's helping out at the farm!

So, on Tuesday or Wednesday, Connor started comming down with something. The next day he got pretty sick, he couldn't sleep unless on my chest so he was propped up enough to breathe. It was breaking my heart! I got really frustrated because it seemed I couldn't make it any better, no matter what I did:( I got a call from a good friend of mine and she asked how I was doing, and I told her how Connor wasn't doing too well, etc, etc. She said I should take him to the Dr. with this outbreak of the Swine Flu happening all around us. She then told me that she has been babysitting a little girl whose Father has just found out he has a confirmed case of the Swine Flu! (I had watched her kids a few days earlier, neither of us knowing of the exposure).

So, yeah, I called Connor's Doctor, and we went right in. After checking him out, the Doc said that the poor boy has a double ear infection, and becaues of his symptoms and his exposure to it, we are treating this like a case of the Swine Flu, as there is nothing different in treating it. So, here are some pictures of my little Swine, poor guy. He has been so good considering how tired he is and that he has such a rough time breathing:( We had to miss my neice's baptism too as we didn't want to spread this nasty virus to anyone else. Connor is feeling much better now, and we go to see the doctor tomorrow morning to make sure he is making some progress. The one picture, by the way, of of Connor and his nebulizor (yeah, I don't know if that is how you spell itor now, but I figure you all will get it! Sound it out;) ) and some of Connor and his Daddy totally zonked out on the couch. So, here is my little nebulized swine;)

Finally! Some more pictures!

So, these last couple of months have been really busy. Alot has gone on in our little lives. We suffered some loss of family, bought a house, had some work to do with the house, Connors trying to crawl, a "family reunion," and some summer school to boot! We are doing well, and love our little family being settled in a house!! We love it!! I hope you enjoy some of the updates I post!
So this is from our Fourth of July. We went boating with my whole family! It was so fun to have this time with all of my siblings and their families, my parents, and even my grandparents. This is one of my grandpa and Connor and I. Poor Connor! I was afraid he would get a sunburn on his head, and even though I did use sunblock, I just felt safer putting a hat on his head. And that is my dad in the rear view mirror:) We had such a blast with everyone, and it was a great time!

This is a pic of our little family at the cannery. I know the hairnet is over poor Connor's eyes, but I still think it's cute. AWW, my little family:)

So, we have this snow suit for connor, that is blue and..yeah, pretty much he is a teletubby when he wears it . My mom may never talk to us again because we did this, but we couldn't help it. Tyler cut the square out and stuck it on Connor, and I encouraged him, It was just too perfect. My mom has a STRONG dislike for the whole teletubby thing, so yeah. We shall see if this will break our family tie;) We had Connor in this before going camping at a cattle round up. We had a lot of fun though:)
And this is from our trip to the Cannery! We arrived at the Cannery and washed up, and then we placed hair nets over our hair (Tyler and I) and the poor sister in charge of the cannery, asked us if we could get Connor to wear one too. Connor did pretty well with it actually. We didn't do much as far as canning goes, but we did have alot of fun. Connor was VERY noisy, but nobody complained:) Thank goodness:)

So this is a close up of Connor in the teletubby suit. He had to wearing not only camping, but most nights when Tyler and I would take him out on walks in the cold. He actually didn't mind it. He just loves being outside!

AWWW!! more pictures:)

Isn't his little bum just adorable? I really wanted to take a naked picture of him, well, a naked bum picture and Britta was a little leary, but thank goodness she was willing to do it because these are just priceless to me! He is such a ham!! He was having a great time the whole time he was naked, it was hilarious. Poor Britta tried to take some of him in some cute outfits but he cried and cried, but as soon as that darn diaper was off he was happy as a clam!

Then he took this adorable picture with his fist in his mouth. Connor is so funny because he will NOT take a binky, but he will suck his fist and thumb. no worries, he now won't even do that, he chews on his thumb, fist, and (gulp) toes. It's gross, but he is happy. I love this little guy:)

So I had to take advantage of having my mom and grandma both there, so we took a four generation picture! This is so priceless for me! I'm so glad for the opportunity to take this picture with my Grandma, my mom, myself, and my son. It was so neat, for me, to be able to do this! None of us like to take pictures, but thank goodness they put that aside, so we can have this fabulous memory together:) Sorry about Connor's head, he looks like he's wearing a jewish cap, but he's not I swear, he's just a baldy, it's mostly grown in now though, I swear:)

SO these are the pictures from back in March that Britta took (much better than the other ones I took, thank goodness!) I'm so grateful that she is willing to take these pictures and be willing to take time out of her VERY busy day to take these, edit them, and all that good stuff that I am just not savy enough to do! I LOVE these pictures, and I hope everyone else does too:)

Britta had this great idea to get a picture of me kissing my little man and he didn't seem to be too upset with it all. He was so fun to have and take pictures with. He is so cute! I'm so glad we took these pictures. It looks like I'm biting his ear, but honest I wasn't. I just wish Tyler could have come with us so we could get a cute family photo. We've been trying, and we'll get one here soon I hope:) I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post these. I really am trying to do better with posting these more regularly. I do love when everyone posts comments though cause then I know people are seeing these and I'm not doing this all in vain (hint hint mom!);) I love these pictures and I hope you all do too:) Thanks again Britta!! I had a blast and really am excited that I have these pictures to remember his three month old stuff. I really hope everyone else gets a kick out of it too!

Finding Feet!

So, Connor has found his feet, and he LOVES them! He is so cute! He gets so excited when he can grab both feet at once. He's such a character!! I've been getting chastized for not updating my blog enough, sorry:( I'm trying to do better! And, we are going to have to go get him a professional haircut, cause my novice trims aren't working! I'm nervous!
