The Plague...

We have all been a bunch of sickies at our house. First the baby got it, and then she gave it to me so I decided to share it with Sam.
After an eternity we have finally been healed (fingers crossed).
Here's to hoping next month has a lot less germs.

Four Months

Length: 25 3/4" - 90%

Weight: 16 lbs 10 oz - 95%
Head Circumference: 43.2 cm - 95%

She got a couple shots, and once again I made Sam hold her down. Mostly so she would not associate my face with the pain from the needles.
I just love those chubby cheeks. This is how we spend most of our days and luckily she has not learned how to push me away yet.

-Has not rolled over. The dr. says it is possible for chubby babies to do it, but I am still quite skeptical. She loves to sleep on her side though so maybe any time now???

-Sleeps for a ten to twelve hour stretch. Hallelujah!
-Has been napping like a champ for the last few weeks.
-Only laughed twice. I guess we aren't as funny as we think we are.
-Smiles all the time. Especially when she just wakes up. Love that toothless grin.
-No teeth and we are hoping to keep it that way. No one likes a biter.
-Loves her toy chains and teddy bear. Will also settle for her toes.
-Just moved up to size 2 diapers. They are a little better at containing all the poop than size 1.
-Will suck on her thumb or pointer finger. She, however, will not curl her fingers so she usually pokes herself in the eye. She has recently started to learn. I guess even babies can only poke themselves in the eye so many times before they adapt.
-Loves to make a fishy face (kind of like sucking on a pacifier without the pacifier being in her mouth?). Daddy Sam finds this quite amusing.
-Will claw your face if you get to close. This does not feel good. Sam learned this lesson the hard way.
-Loves to sit outside. Especially if all the neighborhood kids are out too. She could watch them play forever.
-Will practically lay on her head in order to catch a glimpse of the television. I don't know where she gets that from.

Not again...

If you stick this baby in her Bumbo......She will most definitely have a blow out.
(even if you didn't think it was possible for there to be another ounce of poop inside her body.)

It is a very good thing it is impossible to stay frustrated at that perfect little face.

Grumpy By Nature

Is it possible for a shirt to affect the wearer's mood?

Or maybe she is thinking about how mean it was for Daddy Sam to scare her with the big air mattress pump.
Either way, she sure makes grumpy look cute.

I need my Elbow Space....

Who would have thought that something so little would need so much space to sleep...
Sam would argue she gets that from me since he only gets about a fourth of our king size bed (and his single pillow will sometimes fall on the floor for lack of space).
Well, at least we don't snore.

Friends...

These lovely ladies are four days apart...

(which means that Bails has had four extra days to eat...which may or may not explain the ginormous weight difference)

and they pretty much have no choice in the matter. They will be best friends.
