Daddy's Girl

So the other day it was so cute.
Ryan always sits next to me on the couch while I eat my breakfast in the morning. And the other day he just reached over and started rubbing my tummy up and down along where the baby's back was. After about a minute she used her little arms and legs to push against me so that her back was poking out more and easier for him to rub, and she stayed like that until he had to go to work.
Once he stopped she just started kicking and punching like crazy.
It looks like she is going to love her back being scratched just like her daddy.

36 Week Check Up

So I went to the doctor on Monday and to my surprise I was already:
Dialated to a 2
70% Effaced
The baby is engaged at 1
My Mucus Plug is gone
And my Cervix is really soft
So doc said it looks like baby Hunt might be arriving a little early or that things will just progress nicely on thier own.
So needless to say I was really excited!
But it was also a bit of a reality check, I came home and started really getting things together and ready for this baby, I can't believe that she could be here anytime in the next few weeks! I can't wait!

This surprised me but hey, what can I say . . . I must just be sneaky like that.

Birthday Fun

Well Ryan and I both just celebrated our birthdays.

On Ryan's birthday we both worked then went straight to our childbirth class then we came home and watched the American Idol finale. (I love David Cook!!!), and had some amazing cupcakes.

Then over the weekend we went up to St. George to pick up a dresser from my mom, while we were there we got to go see Lyndy's new adventure "Talent Sprouts" and spend some time with Mom, Sadie, Ana, Colin, Layla, Lyndy, Jon, and Matix. Then mom took us out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse where we got to meet Sadie's man Quinn. They also came over with the saddle for Ryan and I to get on for our birthdays, but of course they made me the pregnant one climb up on the saddle, what a joke. It was lots of fun though, everyone had a good laugh.

Then for my birthday Ryan made me breakfast in bed, then he had to go to work until after midnight! So I got together with Michelle and Melinda and we had a daytime slumber party. It was so fun, we had some delicious snacks and curled up in our jamis and watched 27 Dresses. It was a fun, relaxing day.

All in all they were some good birthdays . . . chill . . . but good, which is really what we needed.

8 Months

Wow, time just flies! I went in last week for my 8 month check up. Everything is looking great, and the baby is doing really good. She put on a little show for the Doctor. We usually have our appoinments first thing in the morning and she is really quiet, but this time we went in the afternoon and she was full of energy. I'm still feeling great, and sleeping through the night. I have cut back my hours at work to about 6 a day, anymore than that and I get really tired and sore, but at 6 hours I am just fine.
