Stand By Me, Charity Collab

If any of you were following the story about (QueenWild, designer at Scraps-'n-Pieces) Lahni's husband John when he was electrocuted on the job last month you will already know this story.  For those of you that haven't heard here is the story.

On Wednesday October 23rd, John was working in Banff. He was up in the bucket, working with streat lights and received an electric shock. He was taken to the hospital via STARS air ambulance. He was put into a medically induced coma for 24 hours as he had been without oxygen for 5-15 minutes and the hypothermic state was to help minimize the possible brain damage.  He is expected to make a full recovery and is out of the hospital and back home with his family at this time.

We came together as designers here and from some other stores to show our support for Lahni and John by making this kit to help raise some money for their lodging and food while John was in the hospital and to help with donations to STARS - the air ambulance that most probably saved John's life.

Omdat vorige week mijn externe harde schijf is gecrasht, kan ik helaas niet meer alle scrapsels die ik vorige week had gemaakt, laten zien. Daarom alleen die van deze week. En ik begin met de nieuwste releases van FranB Designs. Zij heeft een Black Alpha en een Long way template pack uit deze week. Die twee heb ik gecombineerd met elkaar in de On Stage layout.
Ook te vinden bij With Love Studio is Designs by Angel. En zij heeft deze week een te schattig apenkitje, Monkey Me. Daar heb ik Lil' Monkey mee gescrapt.
Because my external hard disk broke down last week, I can't show al of my scraps I made last week. That's why I show only the layouts I made this week. I start with the new releases by FranB Designs. She made a Black Alpha and a Long Way template pack. I combined both in my On Stage layout.

Vandaag heb ik een heleboel nieuws van FranB Designs te vertellen! Ik begin met het slechte nieuws: ze is geen Guest Designer meer bij Berry Sweet Scraps. Dat was alleen voor de maand mei! Gelukkig is het haar goed bevallen om in meerdere shops te verkopen, dus heeft ze er inderdaad een nieuwe shop bij! Vandaag is namelijk de Grand Opening van Scrap TakeOut, een compleet nieuwe shop in digitown! Hier heeft Fran ook een shop, het meeste van haar spullen zijn dan ook hier te koop! Naast deze nieuwe shop bij de Scrap TakeOut gaat ze

ook bij My Memories verkopen. Dit is een site met een heel eigen soort scrapbookprogramma. Is Photoshop te lastig of te duur, dan is dit een goede optie om toch mooi scrapsels te maken. Ga naar de blog van Fran en je kan een coupon krijgen voor korting! Tot slot zijn er ook nog een heel aantal nieuwe releases. Ik laat alleen die zien waar ik iets mee heb geknutseld! I'm glad she liked selling in multiple places, so she decided to open a new shop. Today is the Grand Opening of Scrap TakeOut, a complete new shop in digitown! It's here that

Fran opened her store as well! You can buy most of her things here. Besides this new shop at Scrap TakeOut, she's also going to sell at My Memories. This is a site with their own scrappingprogram.
