My nephew was finally born Yesterday at 8:10 am He was 8lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 inches long. We are so excited that he finally arrived after 25 hours of labor. It was a very long day and night. He is healthy and strong. Here are some photos of him.

Happy 3rd Anniversary

Well we made it this long! Today we celebrated our 3rd anniversary. It wasn't very exciting but we had fun. We went to lunch at the Blue plate Diner and took Kayla to the zoo. When you have your Anniversary on a Monday it is hard not to include your kids. After the zoo we went to Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and had lots of fun together. We are hoping to go on Vacation soon but it all depends on Patti and when my new nephew arrives. So hopefully I can update you soon on a vacation. Marc and I have had lots of ups and downs in just three years and I am sure that will continue. I am more in Love with him today than I was three years ago. If he can put up with me he must still be in love too!

Windy Weekend

This weekend has been fun and windy! We have been outside a lot this weekend and I am so glad! Friday We went with Pam and her kids to the Playground for a few hours. After that we came home and went outside again to play with friends. I love it because she is really ready for bed at night instead of our regular fight.

Yesterday we went to the park again with Daddy and it was super windy. She was done after and hour this time! Than we had Marc's soccer Game. Casey my cousin and him are on the same team so it is fun to go and watch! Marc got hurt yesterday though. He pulled his hamstring. It was the first time that I had ever seen him play too! I might be bad luck! They did win though. So after we were blown away again by the crazy wind it was finally time to come home! Boy were we tired after all that. I hope that you didn't get blown away and had a fun weekend.

Last night our cat woke Kayla up in the middle of the night and Kayla then would not go back to bed. I was finally so tired I just invited her into our bed. I don't know why I do this because I always end up with no sleep. the rest are all comfy! They even slept in together.

Birthday Weekend

Well it has been a busy Birthday weekend. On Friday it was Marc's Bro D's Birthday and My Grandmother's birthday. Also this week it will be Marc's Grandpa Roethel's 90th Birthday. He is amazing! We had a Dinner for Dustin on Friday Went to Kyoto's for yummy sushi! The next day was Grandpas Surprise Party at Cowboy grub. Even Marc's aunt and uncle flew in from Cali to join in. He was surprised and so grateful that we were all there. Marc's Mom and uncle put together a wonderful video of his life with pictures and of him. Also him talking about his experience in the War. A treasure that I hope we get a copy of. After the celebration we woke up this morning for breakfast with the crew again. After breakfast it was finally time to enjoy some of conference. After that we went to my grandma's for her birthday with all of my family. Needless to say we are a little family'd out.

I am hoping that life gets a little bit back to normal soon! Things have been fun when you are busy but a little down time is good too!

Creating a Hut

Today Kayla asked if we could make a hut in our living room. She had never done this and since it is way too cold again to be outside we made a hut. She is so excited and can't wait for her Daddy to get home to play with her in it. Here are some pics so you can see what a great hut builder I am.

Happy Easter Late

I am so glad that it is Monday! I know that people don't say that very often, but after the week I had last week I am so glad for a new week!

This weekend was a busy one as well. Friday night we had Brenden sleep over with Kayla. He actually was sleeping over with Grandma but since we live here Kayla got in on the fun as well. There wasn't much sleeping that night. I now know why my parents hated when we had sleepovers when we were little. Saturday It was up early. I had to make sure that "Frank" the Easter bunny had everything ready for the next day. (Kayla's uncle Ian told her that Frank is the Easter Bunny's name last year and it has just stuck.) anyway so I was up early at the stores and getting everything ready for the Easter egg hunt that we had later that day! After all that we went to see Horton hears a who. Great show take your kids they will love it. Than the Easter festivities began. We had an Easter egg hunt and Kayla was so not into it. By this point the sleepover non sleep had caught up to her. she decided it was time for a nap. If you know Kayla at all Naps are not in her vocabulary so I know that she was tired.

After all that the next Day began and Kayla still wasn't caught up all all of her sleep. We went to hear my Grandpa talk in church and she slept through the whole thing. We went to Garcia's with Marc's family for brunch it was okay it wasn't Little America like I wanted but it was good. I finally got a nap. We just relaxed which ended Hell week as I like to call it.
