A trip down memory Lane

Elvis Cirque du Soleil was fabulous, Elvis music, acrobats, musicians and dancers, a fabulous show.

I feel like I am back in  Venice sitting in St. Mark's Square, relaxing in the shops at  the Venetian Hotel blue sky and all. poor dad has to be in class all day.

We must be in Vegas, slot machines next to the baggage claim. On to the hotel, food, people watching and Elvis. 

Cold Weather Makes Me Hungry

March 1st and we woke up to snow on the ground.  Unbelievable but true.  The Keller kids cryed because they did not cancel school, the Dyer's slept in thinking school would be canceled and Rebecca took her kids and Eli sledding in the morning. 

Cold weather and baking go hand in hand.  I love to bake but especially on cold or rainy, drizzly days.  The best ever bar cookie - cherries, pecans and coconut or these are white and semi-sweet choc chips, brickle bits, walnuts and cococut.  Yum!

I love to make this braided cheesey bread (recipe from my friend Lori May) especially on Easter but since we will be in New Zealand I made it this week. It is so pretty and yummy.
