MAY

HAPPY BLESSING DAY LANY!
Most of the Skiftons all crammed in!
So proud of Christian and Siona
and their new precious baby!

Very happy day to be a Skifton!

Happy Luncheon too!

Love seeing my sister-in-law Anji!

And where there's Anji,
there's Jonah's family too!
Graham and Sterling are BEST BUDS!

They even love the same food!

Well, well, well,
look what the cat dragged in!

When Aunt Anji is in town,
who knows what will happen!

You have to watch your back!

We love going to the zoo.
Its like our second home!
haha

In fact, we go even when company isn't in town...

It always brings out the animal in all of us!

And brings us to new friends!

And Sterling can always sit on his favorite chicken!

And though we are partial to our zoo
here in Idaho Falls,
we've been known to travel out of  town
to sample others as well.
We met up with the Hudman's
at the Pocatello Zoo!
(it was kinda lame to be honest)

But do you know what's not lame?
Getting hugs from cousin Aria!

Polite handshakes are also not lame.

But now in the not-zoo part of this post,
we have LOTS TO CELEBRATE!
Like Jackie's 76th BIRTHDAY!
She's thrilled... really... she is...

Lots of grandkids to make it a special day!

Mitchell got a lot of mardi gras beads...
How he obtained them all?
Let's just say what happens at Grandma's
stays at Grandma's.

We also celebrated Memorial Day
with Michelle's family.
We went to Ririe Cemetary where
all our grandparents are buried.
Then we had a picnic at a nearby park.

May brings the end of the school year...

Let's see how everyone is wrapping things up!

Colette threw javelin, shot put and discus
this year for track!

She gets better every time!

Certificate!
She has some adorable friends from the team.
(not pictured, the infamous Bella!)

Parker won a film award
for a music video that he made with some friends.
And guess what?
He's the saxophone player!

Idaho Teen Film Festival
All the glitz and glamour of Idaho Falls.

There was a red carpet
and some unexpected guests stars!
I felt a little uneasy,
I know storm troopers
are notoriously bad
with those laser guns.
And I'm pretty sure that Jawa
stole Richard's wallet.

Parker donned his tuxedo
on another night
for PROM!
With his friends
and girlfriend, Adi.

We served them tacos!
Excellent choice when you're
in a white tux!

But it was a classy night to be sure!

Mitchell survived 8th grade
as the activity leader for the school.
MCing every pep rally
and pumping up all the kids!
He quit band,
and decided to retire his trombone.
But he's football cleats
are still getting muddy,
you can count on it!

Britta and Cora are soaking up
elementary school!
Matching outfits were 100% THEIR idea!
(I've been there too many times)

We went to a cute school art display.

I took these pictures,
but not the important pictures
of art that Cora and Britta
actually made.
haha
oops.

Cora missed school one day
to pull some baby teeth!
Yuck!
(Braces are rumored soon!)

Another day she missed school
this time for a field trip to
--can you guess?--
THE ZOO!
(last, absolute last mention
of the zoo this post)

Besides just animals watching,
they did watercolors,
and caught bugs as well!

Everyone was happy to see us!

Sterling isn't in school yet,
but Mama is still teaching him
about life.
Brushing his teeth
is a happy part of his routine.

And then he loves
to get the mail
with grandma!

But just like that,
SCHOOL IS OUT!
SUMMER HAS BEGUN!

Richard sent me this meme to celebrate:
