Christmas time 2015

 Bree and Scott gave us pie in the face.

 Of course our family would love this and tried it out right away.

I don't think Mark ever got pie in the face. I think Kimberly did every time.

That time again!

 The prom! 

This year I just bought a dress on line and hoped for the best.  It could have been a little longer but I'm choosing not to dwell on that.

 Dad helping get the shoes on.  Of course there are a hundred more photos to wade through because I didn't take them.  I'm good with two or three.  Not to mention they aren't turned which is a blogger nightmare, that and deciphering those tiny thumbnails in the first place.  Bear with me.  There has been a whirlwind of DIY around here and blogging seems like one more thing to do.  Since this is the only online based thing I do I'll attempt to catch up.  Stay tuned.

Winterfaire

 The theme for winterfaire this year was the Olympics.  For those of you who haven't heard of this it's homecoming in the winter.  The first day was opening ceremonies.

Keely was nominated for queen thus her name on the wall.

 Another day was winter sports.

Which isn't really our thing.  We do ice skate.

 Red, white and blue day.  Reese and I found that sweater at the thrift store. Perfect.

 During the day there was an assembly where the candidates  were announced.  These three are from our ward.

After they strutted their stuff in dress up they had to do a dance.  Keely was nervous about dancing in front of the whole school.    She survived.

 Reese won a prize for all her dress ups during the week.

Yes, this dress is freaking me out.  We had fun hanging in the senior section at the assembly.  I left the screaming to the kids.

Game Time

 This is Gregg's jv team with Reese and Blakelee.

He announced their names for the last game.  They loved it.

Reception

 The school hosted a reception at the start of the game for the candidates.  They served us refreshments.  It was nice.

 It's also valentines day so I wore red to our blue and gray school.

 Keely Donnelly.

 We were so happy for Keely.

 If you read Bree's facebook rant you will have heard about the basketball nightmare.  This went a long way to healing that hurt.  Keely's best friend who was truly happy Keely won.

Bree came to support her little sister.  It was a great night.  Why yes, I was freaking out about the dress.  I will admit I buried my head in the sand concerning this subject so I wouldn't have to try and sew something again.  This is what happens.
