My Cute Boys

This is a cute picture I took of my boys after Jackson's program.

Jackson's School Program

Thursday Jackson's kindergarten class had an end of the year program. He invited us to go so of course we did! This is my first time putting videos on the web. I hope it works! They sang a few songs and boy is our little boy dramatic! He sure is an entertainer! Here is one of the songs.

Welcome to the World Baby Wesley!

So my aunt and uncle welcomed a new baby on Tuesday night. Wesley Heber Clark 6 lbs 1 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. So basically holding him I thought I would break him. Dixie was just so much bigger. He's so sweet and makes cute little faces. We went for a visit last night and I loved holding him. Luckily Dixie is still pretty young, I wasn't craving a newborn at all. She sleeps through the night...not wanting to go back to random sleep habits! We are so happy for Cindy and Jeff and most of all Alexis and Taylor to have a new brother! Enjoy the pictures!

So sweet. He slept the whole time and let out one cry while I was holding him. It was so sweet!

I love that I caught this face!

I definitely feel more like an aunt than a cousin to this little one! Jeff even got it confused saying Paul was his uncle!

Little cousins! I'm excited that they get to grow up together.

So LONG!

My little girl is so long! I put this sleeper on her a few days ago and it is for 6 months. She's not even 4 months! It fits her perfectly.

Just stretching

Now there's that cute smile I get to see all day!

4 Generations

Here are a couple of pictures of the women on the Clark side. We have four generations of women.

A New Hobby

Since getting married I have wanted to learn and do a few things. One is to garden a bit, starting with flowers. And the other is to learn to sew. Sewing really scares me, whereas plants don't...as much. My mom is in town this weekend and offered to buy me some flowers when we were at Costco. I accepted. And then I went and planted them this evening. We'll see how long they survive...I don't really have much of a green thumb.

Mother's Day...a day late

Here we are. Dixie was wanting to eat her dress all day!

I had a great Mother's Day. It started Saturday evening. We are very POOR cause having a baby costs lots of money. But Paul went to Taco Bell for me and it was delish! He got me a great card with Michael Scott talking about parenting...of course it was ridiculous and I loved it. Then Sunday morning I got the best present. Little Dixie rolled over from her front to her back...twice! I was so excited about it! She's finally doing tricks. She's getting so good at tummy time...meaning she'll not start screaming until 5 minutes has passed rather than just 2 minutes. She just keeps growing and growing and I love it.

Being a new mom, Mother's Day was a special day. I am so grateful for the mothers in my life. I have many women who mean a lot to me...my own mom being the top of the list. We've had our differences and arguments, but honestly I love her and appreciate all she does for me. She's a great example. I love being a mom. The primary kids sang in Sacrament Meeting and it honestly made me cry a bit. They did such a great job and it was so fun to see the kids looking and singing to their moms. I hope all those moms and women out there had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Brother and Sister

Here are a few pictures of Jackson and Dixie. This weekend is the first time I think he's held her since she was only a few days old. He also was a great helper and fed her a bottle while I brought groceries in. We think he's still not sure what to do with her, but hopefully more and more he'll want to be her friend. We were eating dinner last week and he was done eating so I asked him to try to make Dixie smile (basically I wanted him to entertain her so I could finish eating my dinner!). I thought he would be silly and play patty cake or hide and go seek or jump around. Instead, he told her a joke. He did get her to smile by the way.

Our Miniature Grownup

Ever since Dixie was about 1 week old, she has seemed to favor sleeping on her side. This is usually how I sleep as well. She even favors the same side I do. We have always thought it is so cute how her arms are. Here she looks like a miniature grown-up sleeping in such a big bed! I can't tell you how much I love this little girl. Everyday it seems I love her more and more!
