Time after time....

Its been a really long time. Apparently, I don't have the patience that I thought I had to keep up with my blog. Perhaps with the new year I can be better?? We'll see.

The holidays were good. Busy. But overall things were great!! Maleah is changing everyday. She is the greatest gift I could have and will ever receive (besides the kids I will have in the future)

This post will be just be a catch up on how we are. Sorry for all the random photos.

These are a few of my favorite things.....

What a funny girl. So, I've put Maleah in the johnny jump up quite a few times before. Every time I would place her in it before, she would just kind of stand there and talk to me, smile, swirl around in circles ... you get the jist. I always tried to show her how to jump by picking her legs up and putting them on the ground in the jumping motion. Anyway, so the other day I put her in the jumper, and out of no where she finally figured out that deep down inside herself, she was a jumping machine!!! She loves jumping. Acouple days ago I put her in the jumper and she literally jumped for 2 hours. I finally had to take her out cause it was making grandma tired watching her. Needless to say, this video does not do her jumping justice. I wish they made "SUPER Johnny Jump-ups" Ones that would allow for her to jump as high as she wanted. For being as young as she is, that girl can jump!!

Again, the video will show you her neat talent... but really doesn't do her "good" jumping justice.

Happy Halloween!!!

It's been a real fun holiday for Maleah and I. Maleah was a Bumble Bee for Halloween, and what a cute Bumble Bee she was!! This was the first year that we went to the pumpkin patch also. It was fun to be able to go and pick out our own pumpkins, and walk through the corn maze.

Shortly after the Halloween bash, I read on Aunt Sarah's post and decided that I would try thee ole messy biscuits to see how Maleah would do. Needless to say she wouldn't take it out of her mouth for more than 3 seconds, and when I finally had to take it away from her when it got to small, I heard about it for quite some time.

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Funny the things you can catch on camera. Remember how I previously stated that Maleah's new thing was screaming? When she is doing it, it is not so funny. Good thing I can find some humor in it. Aunt Meridith just got back from DisneyWorld last week or so, and brought Missy Maleah a Minnie Mouse toy. Maleah had a few words with Minnie when she came home with Aunt Meridith.

After this picture, she decided that she would love Minnie instead...

And here are just come cute pictures that I enjoy, that I will share because I can...

Random moment...

Miss Maleah... Is way too cool for school. This picture cracks me up!!! I can't believe how much she has grown, and how 6 months has flown by. I can only imagine what the years to come will bring me. She is such a funny girl, and ALWAYS so happy unless she is under the impression that I am starving her. Her newest thing is screaming. Oh JOY!! And well, putting her cute little toes in her mouth. It kind of looks like it hurts.

Kubota Garden

Last weekend we went to the Kubota Gardens in downtown Seattle. Not exactly what I had expected, but it was very pretty... And a great time to take pictures before the weather changed to yuck! Maleah was in great spirits, and posed so nicely for the camera. Below are a few pictures to sum up the trip.

Just another accident.

I think this would make accident #5 in the last 2 years. Not all 5 incidents were my fault (actually only one was my fault) but seriously, do I have a sign on my car that says "please hit my car, and do lots of damage"? Lets just say..

PLUS

EQUALS

I think I have had my car a whole 4 months now, and it is just my luck to have someone back into it and make it undrivable.

I guess things could have been much, much worse. I'll continue to count my blessings.

Our love of camping...

We ended up taking another trip to Icicle Creek this last weekend. (It's right around Leavenworth WA for those of you who are unaware of it's location.) The weather was pretty cold in the mornings and at nights, and the day's turned out to be in the low 70's. Maleah of course had no issues with the weather. It was almost perfect.

I also ended up doing that horrific hike again up that awful mountain. It really wasn't as bad as it was the first time. I suppose I'm probably a little more in shape than I was back in May (plus Maleah was just over a month old when I did it the first time) I'll post pictures when I get them from the person who took them :)

Precious Moments...

Well, I’m back to work (unfortunately) and missing my baby during the long work days more than ever. How fun she is getting, and what a personality she has!! She just rolled over for the first time the other day on her own, and talks to me like its going out of style. I know there is meaning behind some of what she says and that she is trying to tell me something!! Some nights I am fortunate to have her wake me up to talking instead of screaming. Then when I turn on the light to pick her up and feed her, she smiles like I knew exactly what she was saying. What an awesome gift to give someone. Just the smiled brightened my day, even though her next round of sleep ended with screaming. Oh well!
I recently went and had Maleah’s pictures taken, but just now getting around to posting some. I may be prejudice, but I think she is pretty darn cute.
