Chocolate Mint Cake
I made this chocolate mint cake last night. I sent it with the husband to his place of work today after I took Aunt Sue and myself a piece out of it. It was good. The filling on the inside taste like a york peppermint pattie. Yummy.

That looks and sounds AWESOME! I love chocolate and mint together, especially peppermint patties. I may have to make this!
Leah, I bought peppermint oil at Hobby Lobby craft store over in the cake decorating department. It has a lot of flavor so be careful not to put more in than it calls for.
Oh MY! I wanna bite of that! have burned you White Chocolate Mint Candle yet? Mine just burned out..time for me to get another one..I love the smell of it burning.
as for the plate...I love it! you know me and Cardinals....

Wow, you are a strong person to just get a slice out for you and Aunt Sue and give the rest away. Good idea though. That way you can have the fun of making a cake, eating a slice and them not having to worry about the rest of the cake.
