Rain, Rain...

A few days ago there was a half decent rain storm and anytime Alli hears rain she asks to put on her rain boots and jacket and go outside, so we went. Since it wasn't that great of a storm there weren't any fabulous puddles, but we made it work. It was fun watching her stomp around in the little bit of water there was. We put a flower and some grass pieces in the little "streams" in the gutters and she thought it was fun watching them float to the drains. It stopped raining and then started again a few minutes later so we were still outside and she was so excited for more rain to play in. Sadly there wasn't enough to keep puddles around for long so hopefully we will have another (preferably bigger?) rainstorm soon so we can go play in it again.
* And so what if it was 10:00 and she (and I for that matter) is still in pajamas, we were cleaning and really did get dressed a little later-I think :).
**The pictures are pretty lame seeing as they were taken hidden inside my jacket to keep the camera dry, and sadly they just show how little water this storm actually produced. :(

Sweet Tooth?

I think Alli has gotten my "sweet tooth." I found something interesting getting her in her pajamas Tuesday night after her bath.

Alli and I had baked chocolate chip cookies Monday and when Ryan had his scouts over the next day he gave the scouts cookies and Alli wanted one. Well she hadn't had dinner yet so Ryan told her she could have one another time. She told him "I know where they go, one second." Then she took the bag in and put it in her panty drawer in her room and said "They go in here, okay?" WHAT? Apparently we store our food in with our underwear?

And I am sure my sweet tooth is contributing to the sudden "blossoming" of my mid-section. :) I think all of a sudden my stomach decided to just pop out! So the top pic is last week at 31 weeks and the bottom is about 30 (I don't remember for sure what day it was). I will be 32 tomorrow so we have less than 2 months til our due date, but I had a dream earlier this week and I was having her on the 22nd which is 2 days after so it will be interesting to see when she comes (I'm hoping the dream isn't an indicator or anything haha).

It is really crazy thinking she will be here so soon, I still have nerve issues so it will be nice when she is born because hopefully those will go away, but other than that I am completely content for her to take her dear sweet time in coming so that I have more time with just one child! It seems like now after 2 1/2 years I am completely comfortable (although it is still frustrating at times) with Alli.

Famous

So since I am not friends with some of you on Facebook (since I shared her link there), but I still want you to hear about this exciting news I am posting on here as well. My sister-in-law Natalie is practically famous, she is now officially a published author! She has worked so hard on this book, and she is so witty and such a great writer I can't wait to read it! She is one of the nicest, funnest (see that is why I will never be a published writer) people to be around, I am so glad to know her!! I am so lucky to have such wonderful sisters-in-law, they are all amazingly talented and creative and they definitely make me want to be a better person!
