Polar Express

We took the kids and a friend to Santa Fe last night to ride the polar express. There was a train ride through the snow, hot chocolate, stories, cookies, and a visit from the Jolly Old Man. The kids loved it! Thanks to the Rye's for gifting us their tickets.

Ski Wish You a Merry Christmas

We drove almost 3 hours each way to find snow and take all 3 kids skiing on Saturday. Then today it snows all day here. Well we didn;t take any pictures of skiing at Sipapou, Maybe because at some point Jeremy and I were carrying the boys just to get down the mountain. Next time we'll pick a better bunny hill, and take pictures.

Room Redo

Before

After

Jeremy got me new (not that there was any old) bedroom furniture.

I was so excited I painted my room before the furniture arrived. I especially like my rectangle wall.

A new Addition?

Yes, Jeremy got another bike. It's a road bike with carbon forks and all the other good stuff, I guess.

It is his combined birthday/Christmas so he got it in between. That brings the bike total in the garage to 8 (including kid's bikes).

Heather's Wedding

We went to Odessa for the baby Huber's wedding.

We had a good time with all the cousins and even celebrated a Jeremy, my mom, and Rodd's birthday

Anticipation

I heard someone talking at 6 am last week. When I went to investigate this is what I found.

Apparently he is so excited for Halloween he woke up early to talk to his costume.

Green Corn Tamales

Jeremy took 8 years to convince me to make my Grandma Hamblin's green corn tamales. The problem being it takes forever and makes the biggest mess ever. It also tastes better than anything you could buy.

Monster Mixer

I inherited my Grandma Hamblin's industrial mixer and decided to make a large batch of something.
Thanks to my friend Keri I had enough zucchini to make zucchini bread.
I grated eight cups of zucchini
Added 12 eggs and other good stuff
It made a ton but it was delicious

BYU Game

Jeremy and I took an impromptu trip to Provo
to watch our beloved cougars stomp Wyoming.

Thanks to Nana Nell, the Kinghorns, the Wights, and the Hjortens for making it possible

GW turns 3

We had a great BYU birthday for the youngest Goold. There was cake
Presents
Watching BYU kill UCLA
and singing

Labor Day

We went to Ruidoso with my Mom and the Ryes for Labor Day. It involved lots of rain, a little mountain biking, campfires, and fun. The Thurmans stopped by on their way back to Texas so we could have even more fun.

Two and Talkative

Here are some pictures of the days he wants a "Spikey Do".
I recorded the little guys most used phrases. "I'm just a little guy" comes out whenever he doesn't want to help.

"That was awesome" usually involves playing with the older kids.
