Ellie at 6 Months

It has been a half of a year since Ellie has been born! And I think it has been he fastest half a year of my life! (looking back anyways!)
height 27" 88.34%
weight 19.8 lbs 95.98%
head 17.05" 73%
She is sitting up now and getting up on her knees. She can roll, rock, scoot, and reach to get where she wants to go. She loves pulling hair. She is eating more baby food now and enjoying it. She wears 9-12 month clothes. She loves sucking her thumb and rarely takes a pacifier now. She is taking bottles part time now and loves them too. She absolutely adores her siblings and is so happy when they play with her. And she is so smiley and adorable. I love getting smiles from her all day. She is a happy baby and I couldn't love her more! We are so happy to have you in our family Ellie! You are the sweetest little girl!

Here are Colt's stats from his two year check up.
height 36" 87.42%
weight 32.6 84.96%
head 19.29" 59.04%
He got one shot and didn't cry at all which made the appointment go much smoother. We also found out that he is no longer allergic to peanuts! Yay! We haven't tried them with him yet but that is good news. He is still allergic to eggs though. He still loves to ask "why" about everything! I love you Colt! You are so funny and sweet and we love you so much!

Best Buds. He is so concerned about Ellie all the time and she just lights up when she sees him. Gotta love these two!

Colt's Party

Colt had a birthday party at Bouncin' Bears with his cousins. He absolutely loved all of the jumping, climbing, and sliding. And he loved that daddy got to do so much of it with him. We had it on a Tuesday night and the place was empty so it worked out great for us. The kids were able to run all over and we didn't have to worry about them getting lost, all the littler ones could bounce, and best of all the adults could too. The women all did some and had fun but the men were way into it and were all sweating from playing so hard!

Everyone having fun!

Colt could pretty much do it all by himself and just loved it. I think he would have done it for hours!

Ellie was a happy girl but wanted to get in there and jump too!

Dads having fun!

Girls on one side, boys on the other!

On the way to the party I showed Colt his cake and told him it was for him. Here's the conversation:
"Here is your cake Colt, it is for your birthday."
"No, eggs."
"No, it doesn't have any eggs, you can eat it."
"Peanuts"
"No, there are no peanuts either."
"Errergic"
"Yes, you are allergic but there are no eggs, you can eat it."
"Owie, hurt your singer." (finger)
"No, it won't hurt you, you can eat it."
This was all new to me, I didn't even know he had ever been listening when we talked about him being allergic! Poor boy.

Happy birthday Colt! We love you so much! You make our family great!

Love this one!
If you ask him how old he is, he just says "I don't know!"

Thanks for coming and playing everyone! We had a great time and you made Colt's birthday great!

His Thomas balloon he carried around for a few days!
