around a lot, in gardens, in forests, in nature...

and now for a bit of snake tipping...

the latest news that I have heard most recently about how to kill a snake when in damzel distress mode upon the sight of one when you have no where else to go is...

1. throw a stone just in front of its head - to distract its attention and divert it of its intention to strike.

2. get a shovel (hopefully one will be close by as if..)

3. hold the shovel above its neck about 30cm from its head

4. drop and push shovel down hard to chop head off or to at least break snakes back bone.

5. this will be enough to stop it from striking and biting but it may remain alive until sundown, but the snake may still move and continue to scare the life out of humans close by.

Extra tips: snakes are like solar systems they warm up in the sun in the morn then lose their energy by night, therefore by night-time the snake will die.

scorched frogs

Frederick and Alannah were each and carefully rescued from a fire out the back. Frederick made this gasping screechy sound which I never knew frogs could muster.
Frederick made it to the dam which he reluctantly hopped into, whilst Alannah preferred to stay in the muddy swamp that she decided was her new home.

Lets hope Frederick and Alannah both survived their horrific burns and are not RIPying as they could've been but RIPying in a frog hammock in frog land...
