Happy Halloween 2011


"Happy Halloween"

What you need:

Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Photos could also be used (Refer to example #2)


Font of choice, I used Oh {Photo} Shoot!

Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. Open the papers of choice
Using your selection tool, rounded rectangle, create a small round rectangle
Promote background layer
Crop to selection
If this size works for you, use it as a template for your other paper
by C/P as a new selection to the other papers, delete template paper layer and then crop to selection
Do the same steps for the second layer of papers
Add drop shadows as needed
Rotate how you wish or not at all

3. Open a new transparent image
Type any saying, I used BOO!
Cut and paste the word as a new selection back on the transparent image
Crop to selection
Merge all layers visible
Select your airbrush tool and choose a pattern instead of a color
Find the word pattern you just created
Using the airbrush tool, find a size you like. I used 16
Move the mouse around creating a messy shape behind the paper layers
Remember it doesn't need  to be perfect, the messier the better

4. C/P the photos or tubes of choice
Add drop shadow as needed
Rotate as needed
C/P the ribbon of choice

Add any wording, name and copyright info as needed
And you're done!

Hallow Nite

What you need:


Font of choice, I used Just Jessi

Graphic Program of Choice, I use PSPX2

Animation Shop

Supplies Needed : Cloud Download HERE
Not to be used with other tutorials or used in scrap supplies

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame of choice
Add drop shadow
Create anew raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice into selection
Choose another paper of choice to use as "hills/landscape"
Using your selection tool, circle, trace out a small circle on the paper of choice
Promote background layer and crop to selection
C/P the castle of choice above the paper layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the circle you made for the landscape above the castle layer
Add drop shadow
Duplicate and place around the castle, layering as needed 
Make another circle for the moon and place behind the castle layer

3. C/P the leaves of choice from the kit above the frame layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the black bird from the kit
Add drop shadow
C/P another frame behind all layers 
Add drop shadow
C/P the cloud from the supplies, above the castle layer

We are now starting the Animation Process
*****************************************

4. Add any copyright and names now
Position the cloud in the area you'd like to start with
Save as frame 1 or how you'd like
Move the cloud over to the next position
Save as Frame 2 and so on

5. Open animation shop
Open your frames into the animation wizard in AS
Choose a slow speed, I used 25
Press play
If your happy with the speed save and your done!

What you need:
Photo of choice
Scrap Kit, Spring Love - PolkaDot Scrap Portion - Store Collab
Font of choice, I used Stacutto and TheNautiGal
Graphic Program Of Choice, I Use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the journal tab from the kit
Add drop shadow
Using your selection tool, square, trace a small area on the paper of choice
Promote background layer
Crop to selection
Select all and go to selections>modify>contract>3
Cut Selection
C/P the square to a flood filled image, white, as a new layer
Go to selection>modify>expand>2
Crop to selection
C/P on the journal image
Rotate 6 degrees to the left
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Trim photo to the same size as your frame, using the square selection tool
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the image/photo of choice into selection
*You made need to also rotate your image*

3. C/P the rose cluster from kit
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the glitter splash of choice behind all layers
Add any wording, name and copyright info if needed and your done!

Trick Or Treat ::: Smell My Feet

What you need :
Scrapkit, "Knock, Knock Trick Or Treat" by Sarah 
Fonts of choice, I used Creepy & Denasprint
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Tag Template #83 by Missy 


Let's Begin!


1. Open a transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the template, C/P as a new selection, promote background and then crop to selection, then C/P onto your new image.
Add drop shadow to each layer.
If you are using the same template, I replaced the brackets & hearts with 
the candy provided with the kit.


3. C/P the trick or treaters included in the kit
Add drop shadow
C/P the candy of choice and replace the bracket & hearts
In the template.
Add drop shadows


4. Add any wording and copyright info as needed
Add name and you are done!

What you need:
Image of choice
Scrapkit, "My Immortal" by me found here
Font of choice, I used Toonish

1. Open a transparent image, 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. Choose 3 different papers
Using your selection tool, rectangle, Create a "strip" selection on the paper
Resize as needed and position as shown above
Add drop shadows
Choose your frame of choice
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your selection tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the image of choice INTO selection
Merge image/frame layers
Add drop shadow


3. C/P the chandelier
Add drop shadow
C/P bow of choice
Add drop shadow
Position as shown above
Add any other wording or elements of choice
Add drop shadows as needed


You are done!

What you need:


Graphics or tubes of choice
Scrapkit, "Midnight", by Sarah here
font of choice, I used Atman Regular
Graphic program of choice


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image, 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the masked wording of choice
duplicate and move over to the left just a bit
You can re-arrange later
C/P the postal frame of choice
Rotate 90 degrees to the left
duplicate and flip
duplicate and mirror
Rotate the top and bottom 8 degrees left and right
Add drop shadows


3. Using your selection tool, rectangle, select the open area on the center frame
Create a new raster layer behind all the frame layers
C/P the paper of choice or image
I used her paper
Repeat this step for each frame
No need to create a new raster layer for each frame


4. C/P any other elements of choice
I used a ribbon and tag


Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

What you need:

Scrapkit, "Twi-Hard" by me and you can grab it here or here

Let's Begin!


1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the frame of choice, I used the square paper one
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame
Using your selection, select the open area of the frame
C/P the image of choice INTO selection
*You may need to copy the image as a new layer if the above method distorts the image*
Merge the frame layer and image layer down together


3. C/P the leaves of choice as a new layer above the frame
Add drop shadow
Align in the position of your liking
Then drag them below the frame/image layer
Duplicate and mirror
Merge the 2 together
Duplicate and flip
Duplicate and rotate 90 degrees to the left or right
Duplicate and mirror


4. C/P the bracket above the leaf layers
C/P any other elements of choice
I used the following:
Purple Flower
Red Glitter Splats
Whimsical leaves
Sparkles


5. C/P the name tag and rotate 19 degrees to the left
Add drop shadow
C/P the brad over the tag
C/P button of choice
Add drop shadow
Add name and any needed copyright info and you are done!

Let's Begin!


1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. I only used the back portion of the template, I did not use the circle frame layers,
so for each of the back portions, the rounded rectangle and the 2 strips, C/P as a new selection
onto the papers of choice, promoting background layers and C/P as a new layer onto your new image.
Add drop shadows


3. C/P the shadowed frame included in her kit
C/P the image of choice or the one included above as a new layer behind the frame layer
Re-Size by 80%
Trim around as needed
C/P any other elements of choice
I used the following:
Heart with bow
Dazzle Word Art
Diamond Cluster (duplicated, mirrored and flipped)


Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

I used the large silver frame
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your selection tool, rectangle, trace along the opening of the frame
C/P the image of choice INTO selection
Merge the image layer and frame layer down together
C/P any other elements of choice, I used
The glitter rose petal, greens, word art, glitter, and ribbon with wedding ring
Add drop shadow as needed


Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

3. C/P the photo's of choice as a new layer
Trim as needed
Merge frame, photo layers together
C/P any other elements of choice
I used metal swirl, lace, flower and spilled beads


Add any copyright info you may need to add and name and you are done!

Trim the white edge away using your magic wand tool
Merge down to the image
C/P as a new layer
Add drop shadow


4. C/P the musical notes as a new layer behind the photo layer
Add drop Shadow
Sharpen
C/P chrome music note
Add drop shadow
C/P the small bow
Add drop shadow
Add any other elements of choice
I used the chrome swirl

EyeCandy 4000 or higher {optional}
Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2


Let's begin!


1. Open a transparent image ,600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the template, you will need to C/P as a selection to the papers of choice
Promoting the background, and then cropping to selection
C/P each new layer of the template on to your tag image (new image)
Add drop shadows to each layer


3. C/P the "Frame Background Layers" to the graphics of choice
Promote background
And Crop to selection
C/P to your tag
C/P the frame border to a paper of choice or apply the chrome filter
From EyeCandy as I have.


4. Apply any other elements of choice
I used the red gel swirl, star and apple
Add drop shadows as needed


5. Using a pre-shape Vector, Eclipse, Apply wording of choice around the
Circle of the template, creating a new raster layer above the circle of the template
I used "The Forbidden Fruit Tastes The Sweetest"
Merge all layers visible


6. Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

I Run With Wolves

Scrapkit, "Into the Twilight" by Flergs and you can purchase her kit here
Fonts of choice, I used Jills for the name and TXT Stonewash for the Wording
Graphic Program of choice


Let's Begin Wolf Girls!!!


1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the frame of choice, I used the dirty Polaroid frame, shadowed
C/P the stamp howling wolf as a new layer
Go to "Blend Modes" in your layer menu
(Drop down menu)
Choose Overlay or Burn
Trim as needed
Re-Size to 450 pixels and rotate 90 degrees to the left
C/P the graphic as a new layer behind the frame
Re-size and trim as needed
( I did not paste not selection because it distorts the image to much)


3. C/P the moon, with glow, as a new layer and position as shown above
Behind the frame/graphic layers
C/P the ferns, with shadows as new layers
Position around the frame, trimming as needed
4. C/P the tan ribbon as a new layer
C/P the wolf charm as a new layer
Add drop shadow
Trim a little off the loop to make it appear to go through the ribbon


Add any wording you wish and name and you are done!

Let's Begin!

1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame of choice
Add drop shadow
C/P the image of choice as a new layer behind the frame layer
Trim as needed
Merge the frame/image layers together

3. C/P the leave group as a new layer behind the frame/image layer
Add drop shadow
Make the frame/image layer un-visible in the layer menu
Arrange the leaves around the frame
Adding drop shadows each time
View the tag with the frame/image in-view
Re-Arrange as needed

4. Make the frame/image layer invisible again
C/P the flowers of choice
Add drop shadows
Layer the flowers inbetween the leaf layers
This gives the layered look to the tag
Add any other elements of choice
Add drop shadows as needed

Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

Our Meadow

What you need:

Graphics of choice, I used 2 different images from "Twilight"

Based on a novel by Stephanie Meyers
Scrapkit of choice, I used a VERY beautiful kit by Sunf over at Urban Fairytales and her kit is called Twighlight and it's FTU! Poke around her blog, she has TON of awesome FREEBIES!
I also used a free frame of hers, ValentineFrame and you grab that here
Font of choice, I used Twilight
Graphic Program Of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a transparent image, 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame of choice, if you using hers rotate it 90 degrees to the right
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your magic wand tool, select the open area inside the heart shape
Go to selection->modify->expand->8

3. C/P the paper of choice INSIDE the selection
C/P your first image of choice as a new layer behind the frame layer
Trim around the edges after you have positioned properly
Repeat with the second image
I chose to make one image B&W, and you can do this in your photo editing tools

4. C/P the checkerboard floor that is slanted and faded as a new layer behind the image layers
C/P any other elements of choice, I used her chess piece, Cloud, flower and grass
Using the grass, I trimmed it so it would appear to be coming from the frame
Add drop shadows to elements

Add any copyright info and name and you are done!
*I C/P the font as a new selection on the red paper included in her kit, deleted the font layer and then cropped to selection, promoting the background layer first.
Then I C/P the new font/name as a new selection to a glitter filled image
Then, going to selection->modify->expand->2
And cropping to selection
Then adding drop shadow*

Let's Begin!

1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame of choice, I used the double stamp frame
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along each square area seperately
C/P the paper of choice INSIDE selection of each frame area
*Or if you are using a photo, replace the paper with a photo*
C/P your tubes of choice now
Add drop shadow to tubes, then to frame

3. C/P the iron circle as a new layer, re-sizing as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the jean pocket, re-sized, and and rotate 15 degrees to the left
Add drop shadow
C/P frog clip art as a new layer behind pocket layer
Trim as needed
Add drop shadow
Add any other elements of choice, I used the tree, star, clothes-pin, fence(mirrored),
Twill tag, staple, and glitter splatter
You can choose to position these elements as I have above, or any way you wish
Add dropshadows as needed

Add copyright info as needed, name and you are done!

Jungle Out There

What You Need:
Scrapkit by Un-Leashed "Jungle Party" and you can grab her kit here

Let's Begin!

1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the double frame as a new layer
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice

3. Now we are going to build the tag scene.
You can use any of the elements included in her kit.
I used the following:
Tree
Elephant
Monkey
Plain green vine
Grass
Giraffe
Frog
Butterfly
Blue flower
Orange Tag

4. Add drop shadow to each as you go along
When adding text, I used one of her papers for a pattern in the
"It's a Jungle"
And 2 colors for the bottom text.

Easter Morning

What you need:
Scrapkit by Chili Designz entitled "Bunny Easter" and you can purchase her kit here
Frame of Choice, this one is a PTU and is not included
Graphic Program of choice
Font of choice, I used Hess Gothic Round

Let's Begin!

1. Open a transparent image 600x600 pixels
Open all supplies

2. C/P frame of choice
Add drop shadow
Using your selection tool, trace along the frame
Create a new raster layer behind the frame
C/P paper of choice INSIDE selection
C/P the ivy vine included in her kit
Duplicate and merge the 2 together
Add drop shadow

3. C/P the cloud included and decrease opacity to your liking, behind the ivy layer
C/P the bird house above the frame layer
Trim the bottom to where it appears to be popping out of the frame
Add drop shadow
C/P bird and add drop shadow, placing it "on" the bird house
C/P garden arch above the frame layer
C/P the bunny included and add drop shadow
Now add a bow, Butterfly and any other elements you wish
Add drop shadow as needed

Add name and you are done!

1. Open a transparent image 600x600
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P frames of choice and arrange as pictured
The square frame was rotated 12 degrees to the right
Add drop shadows
Create a new raster layer behind the circle frame layer
Using your magic wand tool, select the open area in the frame
Go to selection->modify->expand->Expand by 6
C/P the castle paper INTO selection on the new raster layer
C/P the photo as a new layer rotate the photo 12 degrees to the right
Posistion in the frame, trim as needed
Add any other elements of choice
Add drop shadow

Add copyright info you choose to use a tube
Merge all layers and you are done!
