So the day that I have been waiting for is quickly approaching! My family will once again be whole! Bradley will be home on March 7th at 4:00! It has been almost 3 years since we have all been together! 33 months of monday morning email will come to an end! I don't know what Brad has missed more, hunting or snowmachining, but the weather decided to wait untill the first of march to snow! So i guess he and Reece will be able to find some fresh powder somewhere! I'm sure there will be alot of spring riding this year!
Life has deffinatly been stressfull. Reece's truck was in the shop for 12 days. No money when it isn't in the field. That put his time off for when Brad gets home off and needing adjusting. Just when you think you have it all figured out....bam! Sitting. No moving truck means no money. Ches sat for 8 days of his 12 day stint. Then he got the dreaded call...his dad had a heart attack and needed open heart surgery. So Reece jumped in the pick up and drove to ND to work for 6 days so that he can come home when Brad gets here. We are praying that all goes well with Ches and his dad and that he will be able to go back to work. He wanted to stay for 3 weeks and make some good money and Reece wanted to stay home and be with his long lost son. It is all a waiting game now.
On feb. 20th i took leslie to the doc. She had been feeling icky for almost two weeks. They drew blood and had a urine test and did some looking around but couldn't really find anything. We went back in on the 24 and they sent us to the hosp for blood work and an ultra sound. Her blood count had almost doubled! The ultra sound showed a cyst and a slightly enlarged appendix. Over to doc 2 for a surgical consult. Doesn't look like appendicitis but all signs show appendicitis. Lets take it out. Back to the hosp. Surgery that night! She was sure telling alot of stories when she came out of anethesia! No secrets left untold! We did catch some of them on audio thanks to Bailey but no video :( She missed a day of softball tryouts while in the hosp. She came home sunday night and monday afternoon went to softball. They didn't let her do much thank goodness! Tuesday they announced the team and after being on the varsity team last year we figured she would be there this year. Nope. Lots of tears and confusion? Yes! We don't get it. They pulled up sophmores and freshmen.
Justin is playing on a traveling team. That is going to more or less consume my summer. He is gearing up for his last rising star concert. He loves it and wants to do school choir next year. The young mens team took second in our stake and are now playing for regionals. They won their first game yesterday without two seniors who are on the baseball team and couldn't make it because of baseball practice! Justin played almost the whole game and made a nice fade away jumper! He is a super defensive player!
I guess that is all for now. All our love! The phillips pham!

Time

My lesson on sunday was about "time". how much we have. how we let so much get by us. This year i hope to better manage my time! We went to Island Park for Christmas and at least there was a little snow. They had about 2 feet and it snowed the last 2 days we were there. I still cant believe that it is the 3rd of Jan and there is no snow on my dead lawn! today is Brads 22 month mark! I recieved his paperwork and he flies into SLC on March 7th at 4pm! I am so excited to have all my kids withing driving distance! And be able to call or txt if i want to! I hope 2012 finds everyone in good health and hope to be able to see everyone at the airport! Love ya

First day of school 2011-2012

Well the summer just flew by and I don't think I got very much accomplished! Lots of baseball games for Justin! He played on a city league team that took first place and was then asked to play on an all star team. We spent the last 6 weeks of the summer traveling from Malad to Soda Spring to Bear Lake and Logan doing baseball tournaments! Now soccer is starting! Justin went to a 5 day REAL SL soccer camp. He learned alot and had fun! He was given a comp ticket for doing the camp so we are going to try to head to Rio Tinto (sp) Stadium on Sept 3rd! Reece is still in ND. Lynette and Bailey just moved from their dank bsmt appt to a cute mobile home in Logan! On Sept 7th Brad will have 6 months left. He is scheduled to fly home on March 7th!!! 28more weeks! I am so counting it down! Leslie is a Junior this year and is almost 2 inches taller than me. Justin is in 6th grade and starting at the Jr High!

Keeping Up

It was so nice to have Nette home for those couple of months! Bailey got home on Jan 7th I think. She was nervous! But it was like they were never apart! He proposed on Feb 8th and then it was wedding prep! She really wanted to have an outdoor wedding at Bailey's yard. The weater has been so wet and cold that we didn't think we could pull it off. But we did! Things were a little hectic and we were running a little late, but the weather held up and we made it through with a few minor adjustments! I will post some pictures when we get them!
I got to talk to Brad the following Sunday! We only got to talk for a short while and he was feeling a little blue at having missed out on his sisters wedding. He is doing good and will be back in March! 9 more fast sunday's!
Leslie played softball on the school team again. Started on JV and was pulled up to Varsity about 2/3 through the season. It was her first prom the day before the wedding! Unfortunatly the pictures are on the card with the wedding and we don't have them.
Justin is just starting baseball. They had their first game last night. They won!
Reece has made a change in careers for a while. The cattle industry is high but they want cheaper trucks and we couldn't do it that way any more. It wasn't profitable. He had a hard time with his decission, feeling like he was quitting or failing. He has gone to ND and is hauling in the oil fields. It is an adjustment, but only for short while. Life is good! Love to all!

Decembrrrrr!

I can't believe it is almost Christmas! I knew this would all sneek up on me! Nettie came home on November 10th! Getting them back is definatly better than sending them off! We had a pretty good crew at the airport, luckily we made it on time! Her flight was supposed to land at 12:51 p.m.. I couldn't sleep as usuall and decided to get on the delta website. My dad had told me I could check on the flight status as soon as it left the ground. The first time I checked on it, it said it was boarding. The next time I checked it said the arrival time was 12:03! Almost an hour early! Reece wasn't even home yet and we had a 2 hour drive to get there! I called Reece and woke him up! He said it would take him 2 hours to get home! I was in a panic! I wanted to leave the house at 9:30 but he had told me we didn't need to leave till like 10:30 but we settled on 10 and now that was not going to work! I needed more time! Reece got home at 9:45 and showered quickly and we were out the door at 10! I was praying for a miracle! We had made it about half way when my fuel gage decided to inform me that we may not have enough gas to get to Salt Lake! I knew we didn't have time to stop! We pulled into airport parking at 12:05. I left everyone at the car and made a emergency pit stop and met everyone inside. Mom, Dad, Dad G, Sean, Tammy, Quinn, Alyse, Katie, Isaac, Mickaela, Ella and Bleu were there. Her plane was already on the ground but I guess they couldn't get the door open or something (jk!)! My prayers had been answered because we were there for about 10 or 15 min. before she came out! I will try to upload the video! we just ran at each other and yelled and cried! It was wonderfull! Only 14 more fast sundays and we will have Brad back too! I can't wait to have them all back under my wings again!
Have a blessed holiday! Nan

Fall

Well alot has been happening here! We finally finished the sprinkler system in the half circle of the truck driveway and put in grass. Now I need to cut it!. We swapped the hay for grass, moved pipe, bought a sicle (sp?) mower, cut and baled the field. Pounded posts and fenced the east and fron side except for right behind the house. Put on a deck. Started school and being a stay at home mom. Lost a motor in the truck. Got another calling: Stake youth trek transportation and equipment committee leaders. And I have started to get Lynette's room ready to receive her in 27 days! Justin birthday was yesterday and we are trying to get a trip to Lagoon and Frightmares in before the end of the season! Hope all is well with you! Love the phillips'
