Sick week

Our week has looked like this...

In case you're wondering, that's them watching T.V. Zachary gets really into it, can you tell? Oh and Kaylin has a nebulizer mask on for her asthma breathing treatments.

Just in case anyone was wondering what happened with the whole toilet fiasco....I present the new toilet.

Parents come to town

We've been very blessed to have both sets of parents (grandparents) come to visit over the last two weeks. Phil's family came for Easter (for some reason we didn't take any pictures?!?!?) and my parents came the weekend after that. We had so much fun, not to mention Kaylin and Zachary loved all the extra attention. While my parents were here we did lots of yard work (thanks!) and sewed some curtains. We also took the kids to the park, went to the temple to do a session and went to dinner sans kids (thanks Kaijsa!). Here are some pictures.

Kids are Expensive!

I found out the hard way yesterday that kids are not only expensive because of food, clothing, medical bills, and diapers, but they also cost you a lot in damages. After 4 hours of Phil and our stake president trying to clear a mysterious clog in the toilet, we found this...

And the culprit to flushing the toothpaste down the toilet is...
Zachary!So we decided to put him to work so he can try to pay back the new toilet we have to buy.

Our "Beaster" Egg Hunt

For some reason Kaylin loves to refer to Easter as "Beaster," so naturally on Sunday the "Beaster bunny" is coming and we are going to hunt "beaster" eggs. We went to the park with our playgroup friends to hunt for eggs. I remember doing easter egg hunts in the past and running around as fast as I could to collect as many eggs as I could. Not Kaylin. She took a lot of time and only collected the pretty ones. I pointed out a nice yellow one, and she said "no mom, that's not sparkley." I think that we collected all the "sparkley" ones and they had smarties in them. Oh well, I'll have to buy my own chocolate this year! (Thanks to Lacey for the pictures!)
