Idle Idol Thoughts

As a family we watched American Idol last night, some random thoughts -

• The female judges will fall for a pretty face more than the male judges will
• Great job by the RM from Sandy, that guy has the Idol look
• Next time might not be a good idea to give the producers a picture of you recovering from cancer in your hospital bed with only your garment top on.
  
• 4 Down Syndrome kids in one family? Incredible, we loved that story.
• Loved the story on the girl with the Portuguese grandmother that has Alzheimers. Struck a little too close to home for us . . .
  
• Codzilla was a wicked boat that goes around Boston Harbor. Have to try that one day!
• Favorite singer - liked several of them but this is American Idol, come on. The kid with parents from Nigeria was very good.
  
• Favorite moment of the show - that angry Clark Kent-lookalike, that dude was weird.
• Favorite moment II - the contestant who thought she was going to Hollywood because she had mastered the 'American Idol' video game.
• Is your life really shattered because the judges didn't send you to Hollywood? Really? Is crying uncontrollably the only reaction you have because the judges didn't pick you out of over 100,000? Wow. Get a life.
