Skippy and Bobbin

I am sharing the sweet Whimsy image, Skippy and Bobbin, designed by Elizabeth Bell today!  It's about -20 outside right now, with a wicked windchill, so it was lovely to pull out some bright & summery colours to chase away the nasty weather...
I tried something a little different with this image, I stamped it in London Fog Memento ink (a medium grey) instead of my usual black, and it made for a much softer image overall.  And since she's gazing away from us, I made the light source coming straight at her from the distance (clear as mud?)  Here's a close-up:

I've popped her up on pop dots, and added some pearls and a little twine.

Here's what you can find in the OCS store:
Sand, hair & puppy: E51, E53, E55, E57
Hat & sandals: Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28
Skin tones: E000, E00, E02
Romper: R81, R83, YG61, YG63, YG67
Water: B32, B34
Sky: B0000, B000, B00

Happy stamping!  Karen :o)

Daydream Believer

Ever since I received this stamp I've been humming a particular song - can anyone guess what the title of that song would be - LOL!!!!!!!!

This is my version of this cute SWALK image entitled Daydream Believer available here at One Crazy Stamper. The sentiment and the flower images are also included with the set. All of the images are colored with Copics, and then the flowers and sentiment were fussy cut and popped up on the card front. The card front dp is all from Kasier Craft's Botanical Odyssey collection. Makes you dream of summer and those long lazy sunshine days, doesn't it!!!
The challenge this month here at One Crazy Stamper is Anything Goes, and the prize is fantastic, so be sure to check it out by clicking on the icon at the top of this blog.

Ellie's Warm Winter Wishes~

I just had to color up Ellie Loves to Knit from Your Next Stamp again!  You can find Ellie and lots of her pals at One Crazy Stamper.

I colored her up with Copic Markers and then cut her out leaving a small narrow border.  I matched her to the KaiserCraft collection called Bubblegum Hills.  This collection is fun because it has fun die cut borders such as the one on the bottom of this card.

My embellishment on this card is a snowflake rosette made with Honeycomb paper from Inky Antics.  Lora has some on the way....so be sure to keep your eye peeled!  This stuff is fun, both in it's traditional use on HoneyPop cards and as fun borders and rosettes such as this!

A Pen Friend!

Today's card uses all of the following supplies:
Patterned Paper: KaiserCraft Bubblegum Hills
Belles 'n Whistles: A Pen Friend
Copic Markers
Copic Xpress-It Blending Cardstock
Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large and Small

I used 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch square punches for my background.  The smaller squares are popped up on foam tape.  The white oval has been run through my Xyron machine and covered with glitter.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut my main image since she was a tad taller than my white oval.  The butterflies are fussy cut from a fun sheet of glitter paper from the paper pack I listed above.  The blue squares on my background have glossy accents as well.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Stampavie Fairy Kiki

Dana here, and I've got one last chance this month to inspire you to pop over and join our challenge and also to head over to the store and see all of the amazing new items Lora has been adding!! (Wow!! three links in one sentence.. I think that is a new personal record.. lol~)
Ok, so some of you that have been faithfully following our blog may realize by now that I am not a stickler for following guidelines (snicker!!). I am by no means a rebellious person, I just think of them more as "suggestions". I was putting this card together and once again, almost (it was very, very close!) forgot to follow the sketch! But luckily, I caught myself in time and cut my paper (oohhh.. it is so pretty!!!) into the three sections!
Can I tell you how thrilled I am that Stampavie is carrying some of Mo Manning's amazing images in rubber??!! This is one of my all time favorites Fairy Kiki!!

I told you that paper is gorgeous!! That is from Kaisercraft . Yummy!! Lora has some great deals on Patterned Paper right now in the clearance section!! Some are as low as .49 cents for 12x12 paper!! I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I happened to use Broken China and Faded Jeans. She was colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS after stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

She was cut out using Spellbinders Circle and Scallop Circles Nestabilities.
You can see a few close ups on my blog.

Good luck on winning that $25 Gift Certificate but you can't win if you don't play ; ) You also have to use product from the store to be eligible for the prize.

Hugs~
