Dim Sum...Can I have Some???

Although Trey is a picky eater he absolutely loved Dim Sum!!

While we were visiting, Aunt Jodi took us to China Town for Dim Sum. Afterwards we went to the market so the girls could do a little shopping. They love to shop!!

Here is a picture of the whole crew at China Town....

We also visited the Skirball Center. The girls got do an archaeological dig.

We also went to The Noah's Arch Exhibit. Everything in this particular exhibit is made from recycled materials. It was pretty amazing how creative they were and fun to figure out what the animals were made of.

We had a wonderful visit with Our Whole Family over Thanksgiving break!!

For Thanksgiving we visited Grandma and Grandpa Goodrich one last time before they come home from their Mission. While we were there we visited the Los Angeles Natural History Museum. We had a great time exploring.....
Playing at the the Park.

The Museum had a Discovery Room for the kids to play in and explore Gini was fascinated with the Antlers.

Nina is very interested in Minerals and Crystals. The Museum has a large collection of Minerals and Crystals on display. They even had some the kids could touch in the Discovery room.

Happy Halloween...

Halloween 2008 proved to be filled with Good Friends, Lots of family, and Lots of Fun......Here are some of the memories we made.

For the Fall Festival at Church
Nina as: a Witch, Gini as: Sharpay Evans, Trey as: a Giraffe

My mom thinks he is the cutest thing she ever did see.

For School Gini was a Leopard......

On Halloween their Costumes were....Nina as: Tess Taylor (Camp Rock), Gini as: Minni Mouse, Trey as: Giraffe

If he works hard enough he will get that wagon to move.

Getting this many Great Grandkids to stand together is tricky.
Who gave us those silly bugged out glasses anyway????

Our First Camping Trip...

We took our first camping trip this October. Some might think we are crazy....I call us full of adventure. It was alot more work than I remember from when I was a kid, and I was jealous of all the pop-up campers I saw while we were there but the kids had a blast!!! That is an understatement.

We took the kids Trout fishing.....we didn't catch any but had fun trying.

We got to sit by the campfire and stay warm.

We roasted Marshmellows and had Hobo dinners.

And we had to test the sticks too.....yummy!

My Baby is One......

Last week we celebrated Trey's 1st Birthday. We can hardly believe our little man is getting so big. Time sure flies by in a hurry and busy is Trey's middle name.

Some times the simpliest toys are the most exciting. This one came from his sisters collection (I think Aunt Janet gave these out...) and he loves to hum and sing into it. Boy does it make us all laugh.

This is what you get for having too many girls in the house.....crazy hair dues.

We took the kids to Eckert's and Trey got to pose with the pumpkins.

More on Soccer

This year Byron was Gini's coach for Soccer. She did an incredible job playing.

If you remember pictures from last year she did alot of twirlling, flower picking and cartwheels. This year she was all over the ball and not scared when others came to take it away. Below are shots of the girls at their last game with their awards. Daddy and I proud of the girls for playing so well but relieved that the season is over.....we get 4 nights a week back!!! Yipee!!

Gini's Photo Shoot

This is my first attempt at taking portraits of the kids instead of taking them to a studio....more to come later this week when we go outdoors with Gini and Trey for some more pictures. Wish me lots of luck.

I think this one might be my favorite... so far

Look Who's 5

We had Gini's 5th birthday party at the gym where she takes Gymnastics. It proved to be a really great time for all the kids and seemed to wear everyone out quite well.....including me.

They were allowed to tryout some of the equipment that the big girls use and they all really had a great time on the bars, beam, rope swing and rings.

Nina has been practicing jumping rope at recess....she is getting quite good

Gini is getting brave on the beam. She used to have someone right next to her before she would move.

Who invited the monkey's anyway...
Gini got a lot of really great gifts and she played with them all within the first 1hour of being home.

They even let Trey get in on the fun. Boy he thought he was hot stuff crawling around on the mats. Then he found the trampoline....he just walked from one end to the other and laughed and giggled.
