SOOO GOOD!!!

This is the best Cinnamon roll recipe!
HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS
4 1/4 to 4 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
6 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 recipe Maple Nut Glaze or Powdered Sugar Glaze
Step 1: In a large mixer bowl combine 1 1/2 cups of the all-purpose flour and yeast. Heat the milk, granulated sugar, the 1/4 cup butter and salt just until mixture is warm (120 to 130 degrees) and the butter is almost melted, stirring constantly.
Step 2: Add milk mixture to flour mixture; add eggs. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds; scrape sides of bowl constantly. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes.Using a spoon, stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can. (Dough will be soft.) Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead in enough of the remaining flour to make a moderately soft dough (3 to 5 minutes total). Shape dough into a ball.
Step 3: Place dough in a lightly greased bowl; turn once.Cover; let rise in a warm place until double (about 1 to 11/2 hours). (The dough is ready for shaping when you can lightly and quickly press two fingers 1/2 inch into dough and indentation remains.)
Step 4: Punch dough down. On a lightly floured surface, divide dough in half; shape each half into a smooth ball.Cover; let rest for 10 minutes.
Step 5: On lightly floured surface roll half the dough to12x8 inches. Spread with 3 tablespoons softened butter.Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over rectangle. Roll up from a short side. Seal edges. Make a second roll with remaining dough, butter and sugar mixture.
Step 6: Slice each dough roll into 8 pieces. Arrange slices, cut side down, in a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Cover;let rise until nearly double (about 30 minutes).
Step 7: Bake rolls in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown. Invert at once onto a wire rack. Cools lightly. Drizzle rolls with Maple Nut Glaze or Powdered Sugar Glaze. Serve warm.
Makes 16 rolls.
MAPLE NUT GLAZE: In small bowl combine 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 2tablespoons maple syrup or 1/2 teaspoon maple extract and enough water or milk (2 to 3 teaspoons) for drizzling consistency. Stir in 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans.
POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE: Combine 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and enough milk (about 3 to 4 teaspoons) for drizzling consistency.
FREEZING AND REHEATING: Bake and cool rolls as directed, do not glaze. Wrap in moisture and vapor proof wrap. Seal, label, and freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat in a conventional oven, wrap frozen rolls in foil.Place in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until warm. Drizzle with your choice of glaze. To reheat in a microwave oven, wrap 2 of the frozen rolls in microwave-safe paper towels. Micro-cook on 100% power (high)for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until warm. Drizzle with glaze.

This year has been a wonderful one! We have had so many great things happen, from getting our new home, to having our new baby, Nick getting a great job, life can't get any better! We are so thankful for all the help that we have had over the past year and all the love and support from family and friends!
Taylor has grown up so much! She is now sitting up all by herself and rolling around to get where she wants to go! Occasionally she scoots backwards. She is eating new food and gaining more weight! She has given Nick and me so much joy and purpose in our lives.
Nick is doing Great at his job! He is making me very proud and doing a wonderful job taking care of his family! He still plays basketball whenever he can (which means whenever I let him!) He is also still singing and playing the guitar! A rumor hit that he was pretty good so the ward asked him to sing at the ward Christmas party!!
Our new home is cozy! Still not done and probably wont be for a while but little by little we are making progress. Our new ward is loving and very fun! We love all the people and feel very welcome! Nick finished our fence and our backyard is in serious need of some grass!
As I said before, life is great and we have been so blessed! We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Miss Piggy

So Taylor has gone from mommy's milk to anything she can grab!! This little gal is a pork! She is now teething and slobbers everywhere! Here right bottom tooth is starting to peak and the left one is not far behind!

The cutest thing about this is that I took the pretzle away from her and she got mad and started to fuss but I noticed when I took it away she had sucked all of the salt off of it!

I love this picture because she is all done eating at the end of the day and you can just see how full and tired she is!! I love it! oh and her chinis hilarious!

YUM YUM YUM

Pumpkin muffins!! So good! I got this recipe from my sister-in-law Anne.
It is so easy all you need is:
a small can of pumpkin (the pie stuff)
a box of spice cake mix
a bag of chocolate chips
Just mix the pumpkin, cake, and chocolate chips, scoop into muffin tins and cook for about 12-15min at 350 and BAM you've got yummy muffins perfect for the season!

So I love holidays and since Taylor isn't old enough for me to make treats for her class so I decided to make Nick treats for work! This is the famous Dirt Dessert and it is so easy to make.

Visit http://kidscooking.about.com/od/desserts/r/dirt_dessert.htm to get the recipe! I added Milano cookies as headstones for Halloween!

Funny story! Taylor is extremely fascinated with food and watches us while we eat! She is also pretty good at grabbing things. While I was making the dirt dessert for Nick, I looked over at Taylor and she had chocolate pudding all over her face and on her shirt and hands and an Oreo cookie! Oh boy what next!

Our home

Taylor's room is coming along but I underestimated how many clothes she has!!!

I have been on a curtain making frenzy!! These are our living room colors. (black and green!) I can't wait to see the finished result!
This is Taylor's room. You can't really see it very well but it is also on its way!!

taylor is pretty fun!!!

My cousin let me use this awesome little device called a bumbo! She is so happy in it and she is able to sit up and watch mommy clean or cook! Thank you bumbo!!

Taylor is finally in her new nursery! I'm not a fan of the whole look of it I wanted something more modern but I will have to wait. For now its perfect!

Nick got Taylor a monkey and it is her FAVORITE toy! She can't take her mouth or her hands off it!
