Main Stream Media Ignored This Theater Shooting and Gun Bans Don't Reduce Violent Crime

There has been lots of talk about gun control by the scumbags in the main stream media, drug user celebrities and liberals in general. This was anticipated following the shooting in an Aurora, Colorado theater at the opening of The Dark Knight Rises. It escalated over the next couple of months until the shooting that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Because so many young children were killed, the emotional response was increased, but I’ll bet most people never heard of a shooting that took place at a theater just two days after the one in Newtown and for good reason; it didn’t go with the liberal’s agenda.

On the Sunday of, December 16, 2012 a man entered a movie theater in San Antonio, Texas for the sole purpose of killing his ex-girlfriend, because she had broke up with him. The gunman, 19 year old Jesus Manuel Garcia, apparently did not complete his task. He opened fire in the theater which caused mass panic. People were running for cover and rushing towards exits, according to police and witnesses.

At least two people were wounded in the shooting.

So why was there not widespread news footage covering this event? The shooter was stopped. The Santikos Mayan Palace 14 Movie Theater also houses a small restaurant. The shooting began in the restaurant and as people went for cover, Garcia began to fire outside at an unmarked police car. He then moved to the theater where off duty Bexar County Sheriff Officer, Sgt. Lisa Castellano, who was working the theater, chased Garcia to the back of the theater and cornered him in the men’s room, shooting him several times and taking his gun.

Detective Louis Antu, spokesman for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, said, “She took all appropriate action to keep everyone safe in the movie theater.”

Armando Oguin, an off-duty San Antonio Independent School District police officer restrained Garcia with handcuffs. He was then taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he was in stable condition in intensive care the following Monday.

It is, because the shooting was stopped by an off duty officer and the fact that the crime was not committed with an AR-15 has something to do with why this did not get mass coverage. Most of the MSM and so-called journalists are always looking for bad news on Police Officers. The majority of the MSM despise our Military and Law Enforcement Officers. The fact that no one killed probably adds to that. So what was used? A Glock 23, according to this report.

The Glock 23 is a .40 caliber handgun that holds 13 rounds in its magazine and 1 in the chamber. This is one of hundreds of handguns that would come under Senator Feinstein’s “Assault Weapons Ban” bill. Of course, no AR-15 rifle for the media and the left to call for more bans on alleged “assault weapons” and there was not mental health issues for anyone to jump on either.

This really should speak volumes for the media’s silence. Yes, the person that stopped the shooter was a police officer, but consider she was off duty and allowed to carry her weapon at the theater.

The point is that the good guy, or in this case, the good gal, had a gun to stop the bad guy. Otherwise, everyone else was a potential victim. Sgt. Castellano is to be congratulated for her bravery and ending what could have potentially been a deadly situation.

After contacting the movie theater I learned that they openly display signs, just like at the Aurora theater, which read that concealed weapons are not allowed. Therefore, it seems that once again a theater takes it upon itself to create victims, rather than empower individuals to protect themselves. Obviously the criminal, Mr. Garcia, paid no attention to the law or the signs.

Garcia was charged with attempted capital murder of a police officer, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bail was set at $1 million.



Actually, if the Australian Bureau of Criminology can be believed, Americans would be insane to concern themselves with what non-Americans think about American gun rights.

In 2002 — five years after enacting its gun ban — the Australian Bureau of Criminology acknowledged there is no correlation between gun control and the use of firearms in violent crime. In fact, the percent of murders committed with a firearm was the highest it had ever been in 2006 (16.3 percent), says the D.C. Examiner.

Even Australia’s Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research acknowledges that the gun ban had no significant impact on the amount of gun-involved crime:

In 2006, assault rose 49.2 percent and robbery 6.2 percent. Sexual assault — Australia’s equivalent term for rape — increased 29.9 percent. Overall, Australia’s violent crime rate rose 42.2 percent.

Moreover, Australia and the United States — where no gun-ban exists — both experienced similar decreases in murder rates:

Between 1995 and 2007, Australia saw a 31.9 percent decrease; without a gun ban, America’s rate dropped 31.7 percent. During the same time period, all other violent crime indices increased in Australia: assault rose 49.2 percent and robbery 6.2 percent. Sexual assault — Australia’s equivalent term for rape — increased 29.9 percent. Overall, Australia’s violent crime rate rose 42.2 percent. At the same time, U.S. violent crime decreased 31.8 percent: rape dropped 19.2 percent; robbery decreased 33.2 percent; aggravated assault dropped 32.2 percent. Australian women are now raped over three times as often as American women.

So, if the USA follows Australia’s lead in banning guns, it should expect a 42 percent increase in violent crime, a higher percentage of murders committed with a gun, and three times more rape. One wonders if Freddy even bothered to look up the relative crime statistics.

The International Crime Victims Survey, conducted by Leiden University in Holland, found that England and Wales ranked second overall in violent crime among industrialized nations. Twenty-six percent of English citizens — roughly one-quarter of the population — have been victimized by violent crime. Australia led the list with more than 30 percent of its population victimized. The United States didn’t even make the “top 10″ list of industrialized nations whose citizens were victimized by crime.

'Now that's justice for Trayvon'

Al Sharpton and the entire leadership of the New Black Panther party should be arrested and charged as accessories in this horrific beating of a white man by about 20 black adults in Mobile, AL.

One thug was heard to say when walking away from putting Matthew Owens in intensive care; ""Now thats justice for Trayvon."

According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.

Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.

Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. "It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed." Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using "brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on."

Police will only say "multiple people" are involved.

What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said "Now thats justice for Trayvon." Trayvon Martin is the unarmed teenager police say was shot and killed February 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Samford, Florida.

Police canvassed the area, but did not find any suspects.

"Justice" for Trayvon Martin is meaningless if those who purport to seek it incite injustices against others. The whole rabble of race baiters, racialists, and race hustlers who are hanging around Sanford, FL looking to grab face time on TV and pump up their street cred with the black community by speaking wildly about "injustice," should think twice about the words they utter that so inflame the situation.

The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA's history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements.

As former NASA employees, we feel that NASA's advocacy of an extreme position, prior to a thorough study of the possible overwhelming impact of natural climate drivers is inappropriate. To give you an idea of what’s going on in France where there are now between 5 and 6 million Muslims and about 600,000 Jews, here is an email that came from a Jew living in France. First, care enough to stay informed. Don’t ever let yourself become deluded into thinking that this is not your fight. I remind you of what Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: ‘First they came for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me.’

Second, boycott France and French products. Only the Arab countries are more toxically anti-Semitic and, unlike them, France exports more than just oil and hatred. So boycott their wines and their perfumes. Boycott their clothes and their foodstuffs. Boycott their movies. Definitely boycott their shores. I see from your editorial that you think the platitudes that Obama expressed in his State of the Union speech was something that Costa Rica should emulate, but I guess you didn't read his previous State of the Union speeches? Much of what he said wasn't new , it was recycled, tired old policies he didn't follow through on before. He is a president who will not follow through on his high sounding proposals.

Remember, this is the same guy that voted 130 times "present" as a State Senator in Illinois. He will say anything and do anything that might get a vote from a special interest group, just to get re-elected. Many politicians do that, but Obama is particularly adept at saying something, but doing nothing.

Being of a Marxist / Socialist mindset, he thinks that the driving force to prosperity is the government not the free enterprise system. That's why our economy is still stagnant instead of roaring back from a deep recession. It looks like it will have to take a change in leadership for us to finally rebound, and then Costa Rica and the other democratic countries of Latin America, will come along for the ride to prosperity.

Remember, Obama is a narcissist in an empty Armani suit. Don't be fooled by his "silver tongue", because he is actually sticking it out to all of us. You can't polish horse manure.

maintaining my state prison
security clearance.

During the training session there was a
presentation by three speakers
representing the Roman Catholic,
Protestant and Muslim faiths,
who each explained their beliefs.
I was particularly interested in
what the Islamic had to say.

The Muslim gave a great presentation
of the basics of Islam, complete
with a video.

After the presentations, time was
provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed
my question to the Muslim and asked:
'Please, correct me if I'm wrong,
but I understand that most Imams and
clerics of Islam have declared
a holy jihad [Holy war] against the
infidels of the world and, that by
killing an infidel,
(which is a command to all Muslims)
they are assured of a place in heaven.
If that's the case, can you give me
the definition of an infidel?'
There was no disagreement with my
statements and, without hesitation,
he replied, 'Non-believers!'
I responded, 'So, let me make sure
I have this straight. All followers of
Allah have been commanded to kill
everyone who is not of your faith so
they can have a place in heaven.
Is that correct?'

The expression on his face
changed from one of authority
and command to that of a
little boy who had just been
caught with his hand
in the cookie jar.'
He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'
I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have
a real problem trying to
imagine The Pope commanding
all Catholics to kill those of
your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering
all Protestants to do the same
in order to guarantee them
a place in heaven!'

problem with being your friend
when you and your brother clerics
are telling your followers to
kill me! Let me ask you a question:
Would you rather have your Allah,
who tells you to kill me in

to be there with me?'


You could have heard a pin

I wish I had a lower I.Q. so I could debate with you as I try not have verbal combat with somebody who is unarmed. I gather you are one of the "wilted flower children" of the 60's and 70's with some impressive college degrees, but you are missing the most important one of all - common sense. As a "wilted flower child" of the 60's, Stephen L. Goldstein is offended that one of his cohorts, Nicole Sandler, a liberal bombthrower, was arrested for disturbing the peace at a West town hall meeting and wants Rep. Allen West to apologize. Nicole Sandler didn't come to Rep. West's town hall meeting to be enlightened, she came loaded for "bear" and to disrupt the meeting, thereby bringing attention to her failing talk show career. She accomplished the fact that she got publicity, but she failed in getting support for her goofy left-wing views. Whenever Goldstein comes to the defense of a liberal "loon" like Sandler, you know that the Obamamaniacs are in panic mode.

I've been to West's town hall meetings and he let's anyone ask a question or to make a statement. On this occasion, trying to not have constituents line up behind a microphone, thereby blocking the view of the other attendees, he had them write down the questions. She didn't do it, she just wanted to disrupt, which she did and got arrested for it.

The arrest was done by the police and not Rep. Allen West. Why should he apologize?

Stephen, crawl back under your liberal rock and don't come out until the Sun-Sentinel wants to publish another asinine column by you spouting off the DNC talking points and calling Republicans and conservatives "evil"..

‘J Street’ Rabbis Keeping Congregations Barefoot and Pregnant

Now just a minute - hold on there, Sir. What kind of provocative headline is that? Are you insinuating that the more moderate, middle-of-the-road, albeit somewhat left-leaning Liberal Rabbis that hold sway over their well-to-do congregations in Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton are literally keeping their flocks of sheeple barefoot and pregnant? I can’t believe you mean that. I ask you point-blank Sir, precisely what do you mean by that?

Well, dear reader, if you really want to know and if you’ll actually listen, I’ll explain. First, the ‘barefoot and pregnant’ reference is of course, purposefully calculated to get your attention, incite and irritate you. I gather that it worked. It is also meant to draw attention to direct parallels in actions taken by a number of European Rabbis in the 1930’s and more than a few Rabbis here in our country, today. In Germany, Austria and Poland leading up to WWII, many rabbis kept shushing members of their congregations and admonishing them not to become too vocal in opposition to the anti-Semitism and increasing violence by the ascendancy of Hitler and the Nazis.

And today, right in our own backyard, Jewish spiritual leaders such as Rabbi Dan Levin of Temple Beth El in Boca Raton, Rabbi David Baum of Cong. Shaarei Kodesh in Boca Raton and Rabbi Anthony Fratello of Temple Shaarei Shalom in Boynton Beach are once again, advocating peace, patience and tolerance in the face of very real, imminent threats to the security and actual survival of the nations of Israel and the United States. We’ve cited these three Rabbis because as leaders of local Jewish congregations, they were among the 269 rabbis who signed a full-page ad that appeared in the Wall Street Journal on January 27, 2011 and in other selected newspapers across the nation. This ad purported to justify the fallacious notion that adherents to J Street’s philosophical position are wholeheartedly supporting the threatened State of Israel. Wrong. In actuality, the J Street crowd is unquestionably, pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel. Their claims to the contrary are as hollow and hypocritical as they can be.

These full-page ads weren’t cheap; just to run them cost several thousand dollars each. We were curious to know who actually paid for them. ‘Jewish Funds for Justice’ sponsored these all-revealing blockbuster ads. So, what is this group, what does it stand for and who is behind the curtain? One guess – right! Good old, kindly, benevolent gazillionaire, George Soros. ‘Jewish Funds..’ is but one of many George Soros-financed shadow organizations designed to destroy the traditional liberty and freedoms enjoyed in America, as guaranteed by The Constitution of the United States. Why would anyone want to do that? Soros hates The Constitution and the free-market system and is spending unlimited millions to destroy our economy and national security for his own demonic purposes. Are you slightly curious about who this bird really is? Briefly, he is an internationally infamous ‘fallen’ Jew, who has admitted publicly that he collaborated with the Nazis during World War II. I suggest that you check out George Soros on the internet and learn for yourself, about this devil incarnate. If you hadn’t been so propagandized against Glenn Beck and if you had watched his programs on FOX over the past year or two, you would know all this.

I understand however, that it takes some folks a bit longer to arrive at their own ‘Come-to-Jesus’ moment – especially if they are Liberal Jews living in South East Florida. How do I know this? Because, I am a ‘Come-to-Conservatism’ Jew, now living in South East Florida, who had to overcome the example set by my parents, both of whom lived through the Great Depression years and of course, helped to vote Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt into the Presidency, for four consecutive terms.

Now, let me address my aforementioned Jewish neighbors in the Boynton, Delray and Boca region. To those good and decent Jews who make the effort to ‘educate themselves and stay informed by sitting in front of their wall-mounted, high-def plasma screens watching CNN and MSNBC - - to those with or without Lasik-corrected vision who faithfully read the South Palm Beach Jewish Journal and believe everything they read - - to those from Jews who attend Temple and are lulled into a stupor while listening to ‘peace & love’ sermons from their Rabbis - who constantly admonish them, ‘not to make waves’ - - I offer the following facts for your enlightenment:

J Street is the Pied Piper and you dear neighbors, are the clueless, blind followers who have found a comfy home in the crowd of deviant, anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian, radical Jews. Yes, I said, ‘radical’. How can you be radical you ask, when you feel so benign? Think about it. Are you truly for Israel’s survival or are you into playing word games without getting involved?

Quite obviously, you are still following the lead of the most notorious among the ‘Jews Gone Wild’, the great goniff himself, Robert Wexler. Our boy Wexie, was able to cast a spell over the ‘smartest of the smart’ in Florida’s District 19 for some thirteen years, and convince them that they did indeed, have representation in the U.S. House of Representatives. Your might recall that the handsome Clinton-toady Wexler’ the quintessential ultra-Liberal Democrat, suddenly and unexpectedly resigned as our Representative in order to avoid the impending result of an FBI investigation into his illegal financial shenanigans.

Accompanying that announcement, Wexie the Pure, announced that he had ‘accepted’ a post with ‘the Center for Middle East Peace’. This organization is J Street, in drag. Wexler is betting all he has, except his pristine reputation (thought you could use a laugh right about now), that the Palestinians will be shoe-horned into Statehood by this and other groups who believe that the Obama administration and the Arab supporting nations in the UN can thusly, bring about the eventual destruction of Israel.

Adding to the pressures being put upon Israel, are the terribly disheartening and most disturbing, unambiguous threats and harsh ultimatums that have been issued by this President, directly from the Oval Office - and echoed so slavishly by highly-placed members of this administration. Our Lord, Master & Savior, and his enablers who speak so loudly to the contrary, are actually engaged in a full-court-press attack on Israel’s right to defend herself against the bloodthirsty, hated-filled forces that surround her. And, they unashamedly invoke the mantle of those anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli, anti-American member nations of the corrupt UN, to justify the blatantly out-in-the-open frontal attack by the fanatic followers of Islam – operating both in the Middle East and now, from within our very own borders.

I make no distinction between so-called ‘radical Islam’ and Islam because in actuality, no rational distinction can be made. Islam is not a religion anymore than the Democrat Party is a religion. They are both out-&-out, single-purpose political machines with their leaders marching in lock-step toward one common objective – that being, to completely dominate and totally control as much of the spineless Westernized civilization on this planet, as possible. However, in the case of Islam, they fully expect that sooner or later they will dominate the world. When these people speak, we’d be well advised to pay attention and listen.

Evangelical Christians in this country are leading from the front, in the effort to protect and preserve the State of Israel from the legion of Jew & Israel haters. Bless them for that. Sad to say, there are far too many Jews in the United States who are still ‘waiting to be convinced’ that there is a problem. How weird is that?

You say that the new voting "reforms" passed by the Florida Legislature are no reforms at all.. Doug, will your son follow the new voting laws, just passed, and register to vote legally? If he's that interested in voting, he probably will and so should all the others who take voting as a civic duty.

What did we do all those years when voting was on election day period, and when identification requirements weren't watered down to encourage non-eligible people and politically ignorant people to vote?

Unfortunately for you you and your fellow liberal Democrats, making sure that people are eligible to vote will fall heavily on your group of potential voters. Nobody wants to deprive anyone, who is eligible to vote, the chance to vote, but shouldn't that ability to register be left up to the people? Over the past 20 to 30 years, where have most of the complaints about where voting fraud has taken place? You guessed it, ACORN and S.E.I.U. were groups that have been charged with voter fraud crimes across the country, not the "bad", "evil", Republicans or conservative groups. The recent elections in Washington State and the Minnesota Senate race (Al Franken) are just two examples of voter shenanigans that the Florida law is trying to avoid.

Stop whining and get your potential voters registered to vote and have them abide by the law. It applies to all voters, not just the one's you favor. Voting is right and a privilege, the eligibility requirements should not be watered down to favor one group over another. An informed voting electorate is a guarantee that our republic will survive into the future.

The leftist progressives continue to plot their strategies in a perpetual war of their own making. They are on stage mocking America because of the health care takeover, while they have financial institution reform and amnesty for illegal aliens waiting in the wings. News headlines and conservative pundits tell us the leftists drew a line in the sand when their puppet congressional representatives voted for health care reform. They have declared war on the American people. How will we respond?

Winston Churchill wrote about the reality of fighting for a just cause.

"Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case.You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish, than to live as slaves."

Obama removed a bust of Churchill from the White House upon his arrival last year, and sent it back to England whence it came. Very chilling.

In our arsenal, we have many ways of counterattacking the left. States are throwing lawsuits at Obamacare; Republicans in congress are using every means possible to repeal the legislation; and private conservative citizens are working doggedly to put like minded candidates into office in the fall.

However, conservatives should not delude themselves into thinking that these responses alone will win this political war. According to David Horowitz in his booklet The Art of Political War for Tea Parties, we have to know our enemy because "defining the opposition is the decisive move in all political war." We must understand how the America haters do battle.

Just listen to what progressives/tyrants say. Remember, what they accuse conservatives of being, such as an angry mob, is who they are in reality. Since they are so radical, and hateful of the good in society, they have to project their ill will onto others. Hitler exemplified Freudian projection theory. In speaking to the Reichstag in Berlin in 1942 about his disdain for Churchill, Hitler in fact described himself.

"He is the most bloodthirsty or amateurish strategist in history...For over 5 years this man has been chasing around Europe like a madman in search of something that he could set on fire. The gift Mr. Churchill possesses, is the gift to lie with a pious expression on his face and to distort the truth...His abnormal state of mind can only be explained as symptomatic of a paralytic disease or of a drunkard's ravings."

We cannot wait until November, we cannot wait for the courts to take action, and we cannot wait for others to do the right thing. We must do the right thing now. We must know we are at war, and be willing to sacrifice ourselves for the good of our country.
