Well it started out to be a GREAT day we had a half day of school and then we all got to ride home in a limo I know sounds great what could go wrong... Well you see at 4:45 we left for football practice and about 30 min. into practice we are on our way to the ER with Kaden he took a couple of hard hits at the same time and did not get up well you see his knee was hurt bad. So they x-ray and tug on it and say they think it is a deep sprain. If he is still swollen or not able to put preasure on it by Sunday then we will go back for an MRI.Well all he can say is," So does this mean I cant play Saturday?". So you see it is a good thing that he has an awsome brother to step in and play Quarterback on Saturday. Kaden is very sad but at the same time he has all the confidence in Tristen. ( GO WOLVERINES!!!)
And he is studying..( what a good boy!!)
Here you can see the swelling and the bruise.
Here you can see the swelling.
We have to ice the knee every 2 hours for 15 min. I know he is not a happy camper right now he loves to play football. OH well Tristen will need lots of support on Saturday they play at 10:30 this week. Kaden will be there cheering them to victory!!!! (on crutches) And Jacob thanks for worrying and for the prayers they are helping.

Fun Nights...
We got sing star for Christmas and have had so much fun with this. Treck and Gunnar are sure they are ready to have a CD cut !!! But Tawni and DeWey just want a little RESPECT!!!! We had Tawni and DeWey over for dinner and then we played sing star .
Broc was eating a popsicle and watching us crazy adults cut a hit CD. HA HA!!!
Saturday after the football game Ryker got to have his cousin Trace come over for the afternoon they were so cute they decided to start a band so they wrote their own songs for hours then they wanted to preform them for the neighborhood it was so fun . Jade and Crystal got here to pick up Trace so they got to watch the concert. They call themselves the FIRECRAKERS, we are all sure they will be big hits someday. After Trace left, Ryker had a concerned look on his face, when we asked him what was wrong, he replied " Im worried about the concert." We asked why, and he said, "I don't think anyone will come, " I asked him why not, and he said," Cause we're just little people." It was so cute.

A Family Tradition
This was on our summer vacation .We our on the top of the Conference Center which overlooks Temple Square.

As you can tell this was one of our first trips to a temple on vacation. Treck would say this was 30 pounds or so ago....We still love San Diego just because of the majestic feeling you get as you first see this magnificent Temple on I-5 as you round the bend. We have since visited this temple many times and love its beauty inside and out.One of the things that president Hinckley taught was to attend the Temple often so we love to vacation and one of goals is to always visit the temple grounds where ever we can so our children can see as many Temples as they can and so we can also feel of that peaceful spirit that is always there. We do try to plan on doing a session and want the older ones to do baptisms in different Temples. So they can gain the testimonies and the importance of Temple attendance.

Our Beloved Prophet

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of President Hinckley. What A bitter sweet night this past Sunday was. We got a phone call about our prophets death we were all so sad and so very thankful that we were blessed with his teachings and for his sweet Testimony which enriched each of our hearts and our testimonies. We had to kneel in prayer that night and thank our Heavenly Father for the wonderful blessings he gave us through this sweet prophet. I could only imagine the wonderful rejoicing that went on that night in Heaven, and yet had a heavy heart for those left on this side. I am so thankful for the knowledge that we have of eternal families and the comfort that we recieve during these sad times from our Father in Heaven.
