Happy New Year!!!!!!I have been thinking a lot, about things that I have learned and have experienced this past year. It seems like there are tons of things, some good, and some not so good. Never the less, learning experiences hopefully for me to make my life better. Some of the things I have experienced or learned: the loss of loved ones, the loss of treasured relationships, gained treasured relationships, learned that "I can do it", learned that I alone am responsible for my own happiness, learned that I don't need to fear the future, learned some new crafts, learned some new sewing
techniques, made some new friends, learned how to text, learned how to go over on my phone bill because of
texting, learned that I really don't like canning, learned the value of making my own happiness and so much more. It has been a really great year. 2010 will bring more learning opportunities. I am ready, and pray that I can recognize those opportunities and make the best of them.
For all who read this, I hope for a good year also. I look forward to 365 more days of "life". Hopefully, that will happen. This new year promises to bring another grandchild to the family, and that is truly a blessing.
Give thanks for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow. ~Fernanda
