HALLOWEEN 2008

So last year was the first year i made my costume. My best friend and i were GO GO Girls! I posted a quick pic.

This year i had a GRAND idea that i wanted to go back to my childhood and be one of my favorite cartoons. RAINBOW BRITE! My friend Jessica helped me make the amazing costume for this year. I wouldn't have pulled it off with out her. The parties were nothing to write home to mom about but being with my frienda and wearing my totally rad costume was totally worth every minute of work.

RHINO RIDIN' IN LOGANDALE

If you are a reader of my Blog you will know I lost a close friend about 6 months ago. It was his Birthday on Wed. so i wanted to do something that brought happy memories. So the first thing that poped into my head was to make his favorite treat. T.C. Loved when I made "DRUG BROWNIE", dont worry they dont really have drugs in them he just was silly and called them that. They are a special recipe that my friends really like but then my friend Greg called and asked if we wanted to go to haunted maze. If you know me you also know i dont do scarey. But then i thought if T.C. were here he would totally love it! So trying not to cry all the way to Glendale i just kept telling him he better be thankful for me trying to be BRAVE!

Well long story short we were 10 minutes outside of Glendale and we get a text that the maze was closed! OHHHHHH Darn! H ah ha

I was a little sad but then we did something even better! We went to Logandale and rode 4-wheelers and a RHINO! I think i saw my life flash before my eyes when Kayman our other friend was about to drive us off a cliff. Obviously we lived because i am here to tell you about it. It was a really fun night! I am so grateful to all the AMAZING people I have in my life:)


This was my first time in the back seat of the Rhino right before Kayman almost drove us off the CLIFF! OH and may i mention i was to small for the seatbelt so i had to hold on for dear life. Ok hill but same diffrence...i screamed so loud i am suprised that they all could still hear the next day.

Did I forget to tell you us ladies were the Logandale Homies for the evening...

These are Jessica's Beautiful nails i painted. I told her to show me her scarey face and she just had to have proof how woderful they looked. Keep working on that scarey look Girl.

Yea EM and I sucked at the wanna be scarey faces too! I wish we would have taken pictures while we were on the RHINO but it was a little bumpy.

Of course we had to have just a cute one:)

Conference Weekend

Confrence weekend was amazing as always. But this year it was extra special because the group above was blessed to sit in the 15th row!!! Thanks to Tyler Thompson! His aunt is the 2nd counselor in the General Relief Society. We were so close you could see the Prophets facial expressions! It was days like these that make me so greatful that my friends cared enough about me 2 years ago to bring the light of the Gospel into my life.

Look at this BEAUTIFUL couple! My best friend Tiffany and her AMAZING husband Alec. I will have to admitt i was sad Tiff was getting married but then I met Alec and i was over joyed that my BF was marrying such a fun and loving guy.

This was Natalee's first time at Conference so this make the weekend even more special.

All of us ladies in the Conference Center! This huge building seats 21,000 people pretty incredible that we were able to be there on this SPECIAL WEEKEND!

ROCKBAND... WHAT... HUH?

So.... we played alittle ROCKBAND inbetween sessions!

If you have ever played Rockband with me you will already know i am not the greatest! But playing with this group was Priceless! Alec was on the Drums, Nitosha was on the Guitar and Natalee was the lead Singer.

At one point yes i sang. I tried to tell them i sucked but they insisted so i sang ROXANNE. It was horrible...and then they teased me the rest of the weekend.

YOU JUST REMEMBER TIFF I HAVE YOU BELTING OUT CELINE IN THE CAR!

PHOTO SHOOT by TIFFANY RUNYON

My Best Friend Tiffany lives in SLC now with her Fabulous husband Alec but saying that she is so far away. I recently was blessed to be able to take a trip to see them. Alec happened to be going out of town that weekend so it was a GIRLS WEEKEND. We ate some Yummy food got our nails did up.

Tiffany is a full time paralegal but in her free time she does photography! Here are some pictures we shoot on a Saturday afternoon.








There was an old women in front of this white wall that got locked out of her car. Tiffany was freaked out so i helped her and then Tiff and i laughed about her being a scaredy cat.

These shots with all the crazy colors are in front of a Graffatied Trash can that smelled so bad. But Tiff and I agreed it would make a great shot.

Of course if you know me there had to be atleat one shot with me in PINK!

This RED WALL was in front of a Bank. SLC has so many unique spots to have photo shoots and Tiffany happens to know exactly where all of them are which was to my benefit in this case.

Thank you Tiff for taking me out for an afternoon and making me feel like i was on TOP of the WORLD when i needed it most!

What I have been up too...

Over the last few months I have been a busy little bee! I have been learning to Quilt, learning to make barbie cakes, reading the Twighlight books like a crazy lady, crafting and making trips to Utah.

I have decided to post a few pics and blurpts about each topic mainly to get everyone reading updated the quick and easy way.

TWIGHLIGHT SERIES

This addiction came about when my Bishop and his family left for Europe. Sister Leany was telling me about these Vampire love stories that I needed to read. I was totally against the idea. She left the 1st book with me when they left and told me to take it incase I got bored. Well after day 3 of house sitting I cracked open Twighlight. If any of you know me well I am not a reader. Well i finished the 1st book which is 498 pages in 7 days. Yes it is that good I am now on book 3! And the 4th one comes out the first week of August (holy cow that is like next week i better order) and then the movie comes out in December!!!

This has been so bad my roomates couldnt get me out of the house on a Friday night. I have got myself under control now thank goodness:)

QUILTING

Yes you read that correctly I have become very crafty! I even have my own sewing machine. This is my first quilt and I am darn proud of it. All that is left it to actually quilt it.

Yes I have started a 2nd quilt for my sweet nephew. I am a sewing ADDICT!

BAKING

I have always loved to bake. People know me for my famous brownies. But a few weeks ago I got a call from my mom telling me she has this GREAT IDEA. She told me how my 3 cute little girl cousins Birthdays all fell in the month of August. And I just happen to be going home for a visit so she wanted to throw a party for them. I definatley take after my mom when it comes to giving! It is our favorite thing to do. So I had to come up with my own good idea to contribute. So I called up my friend Tiffany and asked her to teach me how to make a Barbie cake. Duh i needed practice before the real party in a few weeks. So here we are hard at work! Oh and i must add that Tiffany went to culinary school and is the most amazing baker I know. I will post pictures of her work soon.

You should have heard my mom all excited on the phone when she got the text with the picture! So in just a few short weeks i will be making 3 BEAUTIFUL Barbie cakes thanks to Tiffany.

Dont worry we have more baking in store once she returns from Russia!

Meet Cami! She is the most adorable little girl that steals my heart everytime I see her! She will be geting this Barbie cake delivered to her tomorrow. I cant wait to see her reaction.

UTAH!!!

Last but certainly not least! I got to spend 4 wonderful days in SLC with my Best Utah friend Tiffany! Yes Utah Best Friend we have to be careful of the wording as Natalee states her claim on Best Vegas Friend! ha aha haa I am extremly blessed to have them both. I was up there to go to my friend Aarons wedding reception but I never made it as Tiffany was a bit stressed about her ward Luau so I stuck by her side as she would have done for me.

We had a blast but we missed you Alec. Tiffany hired real dancers so here are a few pics.

If you want to feel on top of the world have one day with Tiffany as your photographer. Since Tiffany got married and moved to Utah 8 months ago she has started photography. So amazes me with her creativity and drive to be the best at anything she does. I was her model for saturday afternoon for fun. Pictures will be posted soon so stay tuned!

Weddings... Weddings... Weddings...

So this summer I have 10 weddings! I have already been to 4 so I am almost half way though the craziness!

But this blog really isnt about that is is about the most beautiful bride so far this summer Miss Destiny Rowe now Mrs. Pittsenbarger!

She is my Best Friends little sister which i adore. I couldnt even imagine my life without the Rowe family. They are one of those families that no matter who you are when you walk in o their home you feel so welcome at home that very moment.
