Thankful

This Thanksgiving was nice and low key. Nick wanted a Ham and so we made that and some funeral potatoes. Keena joined us and brought lovely rolls and green beans. She also came prepared with some fun activity for the kids. She made a turkey and the kids wrote what they were thankful for for on each of the feathers. So cute!

Ryan was thankful for school, food, Thanksgiving, toys, Crayola, and family.
Drew was thankful for animals, Christmas, family, and toys.
Liv was thankful for cereal, and princesses.

I'm so thankful for Family, health, shelter, food, a job, my beautiful kids. Life is amazing and hard and everything in between. I'm thankful for the Lord and his gift to me of this life and these children! I'm thankful for a loving husband who loves me unconditionally and I love him. We are surely blessed!

Jubilee Of Trees

This year the Jubilee Of Trees was great! I actually had a hard time choosing a favorite! Here we are in front of the Horton tree (which was Drew's 1 of 3 favorites).



While at the Jubilee we visited Santa. (Doesn't his bench look a little too much like a bed?) I was a little disturbed by the fact he was a little creepy. Oh well. Picture done.



This year certainly was a great one! Thanks Keena for helping me wrangle the kids!

Pioche

Such a cute little town. I was sad we didn't get to stay for very long. It was great seeing family and getting some fun pictures!

Dragons!

Meet Night Fury. Quick as a flash and silent. May get you with a fireball as he flashes by.


Meet Gronkle. He is a bit slower than Night Fury but makes up for his slowness with a quick witted joke or distracting tuck and roll!

Hunger Games

I bought The Hunger Games the day it came out. I was hooked from the very beginning. Suzanne Collins wrote a brilliant novel that will soon be coming to the big screen. I must admit I'm nervous. It is such a heavy book with violence, and theme and yet Collins writes past those and focus' on characters. This is a gem of a fan based made film. I can only hope the actual movie can catch a little of this!
