Notes

I have found a way to not feel bad about throwing away the millions of notes and pictures I find around the house...I take a picture of it.
This first one is lyrics to a very cute song that Tessa made up that I think I should sing with my preschoolers

"I walk to the bookshelf and what do I see. Hundreds of stories calling to me. I open the cover and what do I find. A new way to open a door in my mind."

This is one of my favorites! Apparently if you leave your toast on on the counter without a note it may be eaten while you are in the bathroom ;)

Book Report and Ironic

Tessa has had to do a creative book report on a different book every month.  It stresses me out but we have read lots of different books and I think our Movie Poster of I Survived the Attack of 9/11 was pretty good.

And, I find it funny that it is a treat for the girls to sleep in the same bed (only on holidays and the weekends)...I don't understand it because I had my own room for roughly 3 months in my entire life ;)

St. George

We had a quick getaway to St. George to get away from the snow. Some of the highlights were 1)seeing the sun and wearing only a jacket while we played at the park 2) staying at a hotel where mom actually wanted to get in (the temperature was like a warm bath...heavenly! and 3) visiting Jacob Hamblin's home.

We love it when Elena and Ruby come over, because with this many girls one can't help but put on some AMAZING plays!
