The Girls

Many exciting things have happened over the past little while. For one, Devy got her first tooth. Everyone her age has at least two so we were excited when she got one. AND Ari said her first prayer. Within that hour of saying her first, she said her second, third and fourth. She loves to pray.

Ari has said of a lot of funny things today. Today Ari walked up to me holding a toy gorilla and Mary from a nativity and said in her high little voice, "Awwww the gorilla is holding Mary." It was so funny. Ari was holding a curling iron and said to me, " I want to be beautiful." Lastly, she was talking to my dad and said, "Papa you cant take a shower with your clothes on. You like to be naked?" It is hilarious what comes out of that little ones mouth. She is a funny girl!

We are teaching Ari early to love golf so she can be Nate's partner. She actually has already been with him and we are pretty sure the passion is there.

I am not quite sure what they are doing. When I asked Ari she said they were building a nest. So, I guess they are building a nest!

5 Snacks I enjoy: I love grapefruit! Creme Brulee! Mmmmm delicious! Spinach dip. Orange rolls. And chocolate milk.

What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: I would retire! Get a house and invest. Buy some new clothes and shoes. Hang out with Nate and the girls all day, everyday.

3 of my bad habits: 1. I am a terrible nail biter. I just cant quit! 2. I am addicted to looking at fabric online. It may seem pretty lame to some but I enjoy it. Every morning I wake up, look at a couple sites before the girls wake up, then I get on with my day. #3 Chocolate. I feel like I need to have chocolate after every meal even if it is one M&M. I always tell Nate that it helps with digestion. I really feel like it does.

5 jobs that I have had : 1. Spin Instructor 2. Personal trainer 3. Plasma center receptionist 4.seamstress 5. I was also in a study for birth control which I was paid for. (Thanks Jenny! Good times!)

5 Things people don't know about me:

#1 I am so scared of dogs. It doesn't matter if the dog is small or large, I am scared of all dogs. Except Maxi, my parents dog, I have gotten use to her.

#2 I am a terrible writer. Everyone probably knows this after reading the post. It is no secret. English was never my subject.

#3 I have an extreme fear of the dark. If I need to get to the other end of the house and it is dark. I run as fast as I can till I get there. I also sleep with the closet or hall light on.

#4 I love getting my feet rubbed. I have started training Ari to rub my feet. I love it and so does she!

#5 The last is kind of embarrassing but I don't know what else to write. The worst grade I ever got in college was a D+ and it was in eternal marriage. I could make excuses like it was and 8am class in the winter, far far away from my apartment, which it was, but I should have done better.

These girls have got a lot of love! Enough said!

This morning we took the girls to the to the playground at the school. For Christmas, Nate got a Fisher-Price Triple Hit Baseball thrower, this was a perfect opportunity to use it and show his skills. Nate is shoing Ari how to hit.

A quick catch up

I am so sorry that I haven't had a new post in about a month. Just like everyone during the holidays, we too, were very busy. Here is a quick overview of the past few weeks.

Ari's birthday was the 17th of December. We bought a cake and Ari opened a couple presents. One of the happiest moments of my life happened this day.I would actually consider this the fourth happiest day of my life just under my wedding and the birth of the two girls... Ari pooped in the toilet. This means to me that there is an end in sight for changing her diapers. Who knew that I would be so happy, I just have an extreme dislike for changing diapers.

We spent Christmas and New Years at the cabin. As usual we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of snow for sledding and snow machining. We even drove to Big Sky a couple times to go snowboarding and skiing. Good times!

Ari made herself very comfortable while I drug her up the hill.

Grandma Benson got the girls little tike Coop cars for Christmas. They loved them. They just had a hard time waiting for Nate to put them together.
At the cabin there is the ugliest, scariest pig that sits by the fireplace. I don't know why it is there, no body likes it. Anyways, we finally found something that it is good for.


Every year Nate like to grow facial hair. He has grown a mustache a goatee (I dont know how to spell that), handle bar mustache and know a full beard. He pulls it of with ease.

We were so happy that Grandma Benson came up to the cabin. Ari was her little shadow.
