10 Months!

Baby girl is 10 months old!!! I really can't believe it. We celebrated her day yesterday with a trip to the zoo! She had an awesome time! We really love living so close to St. Louis and being able to be in the city in only 20 minutes! She is very mobile and is able to stand for a few seconds at a time. She also likes to pull herself up and walk around while holding on. As much as I want her to walk soon, I'm also a little afraid. lol. I don't think I'm ready for that. She still only has her two bottom teeth and her vampire teeth. I'm not gonna lie, she looks pretty goofy when she grins so I'm hoping her middle top teeth come in soon. Other than that, I love being a mommy and watching her learn new things!!

9 Months!

Today my baby girl is 9 months old. I have no idea where the time has gone but all I know is I am enjoying every minute with this little girl. Every night when I put her to bed I always hug her tight and remember that she won't be this little forever. She started crawling last week and it seems she has become the Tazmanian Devil overnight. If I am not careful she will find things I hadn't even known I had lost. Not only did she start crawling but she is now able to pull herself up on anything and everything. Oh and she has more teeth! She had her two bottom teeth come in last month and now she has the two top teeth next to the front ones. I'm not sure what the correct term for those teeth are, but I just call them her vampire teeth. We had a few rough weeks with waking up multiple times in the night due to teething, but hopefully we are back on track. She gets a cough and runny nose when her teeth are getting ready to poke through. Poor thing. I just wish she had come out of the womb with the ability to blow her nose. I think that would make both of our lives a lot easier. She has her 9 month doctor checkup on Monday so I will post another blog with all her stats. :) href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6kXEDHj5s9fN0EovzdMcd7RsLppaUR7Us_W6wMUV7BjFjhrFNtr7rqf5f9q2daJLDZheAOAyp4_ivqba773OchTEdZESdB6a6v1XCPvZatovEdFSoL91FcATMY5ffcHzGmLtPtvEMsr0/s1600/TRM9mnth7.jpg" imageanchor="1" >

8 Months

Tinsley is 8 months old now and the joy of our lives. She finally had two teeth poke through on the bottom. They are not quite all the way in, but they are well on their way. She isn't quite crawling yet. She is so close, but seems to be very cautious when it comes to trying it. Wonder if she will be cautious as she gets older. When her two teeth finally poked through last week she got off her sleeping at night schedule a bit. We are still trying to get back to sleeping through the night. She usually gets up once, nurses, and goes right back to sleep. Hopefully we can eliminate that middle of the night feeding soon!! She won't go to the doctor until next month (so I don't know how much she weighs), but she is almost growing out of her 9 month clothes. I'm anxious to see her measurements next month at the doctors. Tinsley is such a happy baby. She giggles and laughs all the time and says "bubba." Not sure what she is referring to but Nathan and are constantly trying to get her to say "mama" or "dada." Now, here are some pictures from the past month:

7 Months

Tinsley is 7 months now. It truly is amazing how fast they grow. I mentioned last post about cry it out bootcamp. I am happy to say that it only took a couple of days. She has been pretty consistent taking 3 1-hour long naps in her crib during the day. She does pretty good at night. She reverted back to her old ways a few days ago so we have been letting her cry it out when she wakes up a few hours after we put her down. This seems to be getting better and better. I am starting to feel two little teeth on her bottom gums, so I think we are both anxious for those to poke through. When I watch her on her crib monitor she looks like she is trying to figure out how to crawl. She keeps sticking her butt up in the air and trying to figure out how to get her legs under her. I'm wondering if by her 8 month she will be crawling. Only time will tell. And now for the pictures:

6 Months!

So Tinsley is 6 months old and truly the light of our lives. We had kind of a hectic holiday schedule from Thanksgiving all the way until a few days ago. Because of that, she got off her schedule and was waking up multiple times a night again. So Monday, we started Tinsley cry it out boot camp. Day 3 and I think we are slowly making progress. I figured it was best to do naps and bedtime all at once. My motto is go big or go home. I will let you know on the next post how long this took to accomplish. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Tinsley is now 17 lbs and 26 1/2 in long. 75th percentile for both height and weight and 90th %ile for head circumference. She has to store all those brains somewhere right? Here are some pics from the last 2 months:

5 Months!!!

Tinsley is now 5 months old!! She is so much fun and such a blessing to our family. She loves to laugh, lay on her back and suck on her toes, and roll around from stomach to back to stomach again. It amazes me how much she is learning and how fast she is growing. I sometimes wish I could see the world through her eyes. We love our baby girl so much! P.S. I totally wrote this a couple weeks ago, but was waiting to add some pictures. I will add some more pics on her 6 month post. lol

4 Months!

I can't believe my baby girl is 4 months old already. I swear I have said that about each month that has gone by. Tinsley is now a little person. She is so much more mobile and less blob-like. She holds her head up like a champ, can roll over from her stomach to her back and can drool like nobody's business. She had her 4 month checkup earlier this week and weighs 14.2 lbs (70th percentile) and is 24.75 in long (75%). She did well while getting her shots but they kind of knocked her out of whack for a few days after. For the most part she is sleeping through the night and in general is such a happy baby! There is nothing that makes my heart smile more than when she smiles and giggles. Here are a few pictures from the last month...
