Historical moment: I-65 Closing for Coal Transport
I-65 will be closed tomorrow across Tennessee and Kentucky. They are hauling
a 200 ton lump of coal to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota so they can add
Barack Hussein Obama to the Mount Rushmore monument.
B. H. Obama has stated on national TV that he believes himself to be the
fourth greatest U.S. President, behind Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln but
greater than Theodore Roosevelt.
They had to settle for coal, because they couldn't find a 200 ton piece of
bullshit.

Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Jefferson says, "Listen to the people.""Ohhh! I really really don't want to do that."

On the third night, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln appears...
Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Lincoln says,
"Go to the theater."

Dumbest president ever!
You may recall that a few weeks ago, President Obama spoke of three
former Presidents making prisoner swaps at the end of wars that took
place on their watch, "much like this swap" he said convincingly.
CNNNews carried this quote, “This is what happens at the end of wars,”
President Barack Obama boasted Tuesday when he was asked about swapping
American Army Sgt. Deserter for five vicious Taliban terrorists. "That
was true for George Washington... That was true for Abraham Lincoln and
that was true for FDR. That’s been true of every combat situation,
that at some point, you make sure that you try to get your folks
back... And that’s the right thing to do.”
Really?
That statement blatantly demonstrates that the most powerful man in the
World and two term President of the United States lacks even a grade
school level of knowledge of American History; specifically, history as
it relates to three of our most famous presidents and it demonstrates
again that we have essentially elected a foreigner who has no
understanding of the very country that he reigns supreme over. Then
again, he was educated at an Ivy league school so you can't expect too
much.
What's wrong with his statements? Let's keep it simple-- EVERYTHING
is wrong!
George Washington did not become president until six years after the
Revolutionary War ended in 1783. By 1789 there were no longer any
prisoners for him to exchange.
Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in mid April of 1865. The Civil War
ended the following month. He was still dead at that time. No deals
were made to exchange prisoners after the war. All prisoners were
simply freed.
FDR died of a stroke before the end of WWII. Like Lincoln, he stayed
dead after the war so he couldn't do what this jerk says he did. You'll
recall that Harry S. Truman made the decision to drop two nuclear bombs
on Japan, ending World War II. He made no deals for prisoners. We
went in and released them when necessary.
None of the Presidents that Obama noted were in office at the ends of
those wars, making it impossible for them to make any sort of prisoner
swaps, let alone the 5 for 1, plus unspecified cash, for a deserter and
traitor by our "57 States" president.
It should be pointed out that countless deserters and traitors were
shot or hung during all three of the aforementioned wars.
What amazes one even more than the ignorance of the President is that
he has managed to surround himself with a staff that is just as
clueless.

Trouble is, so many Americans today are so ignorant or lethargic they wouldn’t know the difference, or worse, care!

Subject: Great Letter to Editor today
This is a letter to the Editor that was published in today's Chronicle. I called this woman to thank her for such a good letter. I found this intellectually stimulating, and hope you enjoy it too. The woman was very interesting to talk to , went on to college education when she was in her 60's, she didn't have the time or money to go earlier, was busy raising her family & educating her children. So, after her husband passed away and her children were taken care of she went for her college education - ( History)
I am going to get this book that she mentions. She said after you read this you will understand all about the Constitution - explains why the founding fathers did what they did and how they arrived at this decision.

They left no stone unturned and researched governments all the way back to Cicero. There were two free societies, prior to ours. Moses led one, and the Anglo-Saxons the other. The founders were determined not to repeat any of the mistakes made by those two societies. To correct all the deficiencies.
There is a great deal of material on the founding fathers. The more I read the more admiration I have for their genius, their persistence, their fortitude, dedication, and sacrifice. They were exceptional humans. Even more so than any saints I am acquainted with.
With the many perspectives involved, among the founders, they were able to see the down sides of every issue, and tried to put protections in to subvert any who would try to take over the government by any means. There are ways to stop a takeover, but none of our current elected officials seem inclined to do anything.
Among all the founders, the man who stood, and still stands out as a star is George Washington.
Even as a child I learned how hard things were for Washington. And though I have read much about him since, it took the reading of this book to put him in total perspective for me. The book, “The Making of America” by W. Cleon Skousen, covers his campaigns, and battles in more depth than anything I have ever read. I saw something in this book that made me see Washington was a person truly watched over, guided, and protected by God. Put on Earth to serve His purpose.
There is no human who could have endured, and survived, what Washington did without divine intervention. God wanted this nation founded, and Washington was His tool.
Washington had four bullet holes in his coat, and two horses shot from under him, yet he remained unscathed, at the Battle of the Wilderness during the French and Indian War, but he survived without so much as a scratch. Many times, some of his men literally froze to death during the Revolutionary War, but he was always spared.
Every last one of them should have starved to death.
Several times there were fortuitous weather phenomena that helped him win over superior forces armed and provisioned to the teeth. Miraculous fogs appeared at precisely the right time, on several occasions. Not a moment too soon, nor a moment too late. Just right. How do you account for that? It was only by the hand of God that these things could have happened.
Because of the overwhelming circumstances, extreme weather, ill provisioned and equipped, the U.S. troops should have lost, but with Washington’s leadership, and divine intervention the U.S. troops prevailed. Their victories were miraculous; God’s hand was clearly with this man.
I think providence wanted this nation to be born. Are we to witness her demise? Not if I can help it.
Is this a nation worth fixing, and keeping? It does need a little work, and a few patriots.
But, it is a keeper.

Subject: How Obama can help the Country
Obama is in his White House bed
One night, Obama is tossing restlessly in his White House bed. He awakens to see George Washington standing by him. Barak asks him, "George, what's the best thing I can do to help the country?"
"Set an honest and honorable example, just as I did," Washington advises, then fades away.
The next night, Obama is astir again, and sees the ghost of Thomas Jefferson moving through the darkened bedroom.Obama calls out, "Tom, please! What is the best thing I could do to help the country?"
"Respect the Constitution, like I did," Jefferson advises, and dims from sight.
Barak isn't sleeping well the third night when he sees another figure moving in the shadows. It is Abraham Lincoln's ghost. "Abe, what is the best thing I can do right now, to help the country?" Obama pleads.
Abe replies: "Go see a play."
