7 months old

So, I've been slacking on updating my blog, Mere hasn't been taking very long naps anymore (but at least she sleeps from 6 or 630 pm to 6am, that is great! thank you Olsen's for the book:) and it's hard to do anything on the computer with her around cause she goes straight for it and gets very upset if she can't tap the keys or pull the cord, I guess I can't lay on the floor with my laptop anymore... I want to put some videos up soon, she's trying to crawl :) so I need to clean my kitchen floor cause she's exploring more now. . . baby and me are getting some fun tan lines though I try to watch her sun exposure--she has light stripes where her fat rolls are around her wrists, neck, and legs, her legs are getting darkest because they stick out of the stroller :)

Reunion

For those of you dying to see our growing little girl. . . I've been giving her baths in our sink since our tub drain won't close. . .



We went to San Francisco this weekend to see Saki's parents and to go to an activity for Saki's LDS technical college (his high school) reunion. Saki wanted to make it to the ball, but we went last minute and the drive took about 10 hours-we had to stop a few times for gas and Mere... Saki's parents had a ball with Meresiana and though we only got to drive through downtown San Fran I love it! I think it would be a cool place to live, and I'm not a city girl! by the way as of yesterday we have the internet!!! : )

Safe and Sound

First beach experience :) Mere was worried about the waves and the water was too cold, but she didn't mind the sand too much...





We arrived in Calipatria, CA Tuesday--it's a tiny little town about 2 1/2 hours east of San Diego. I really like it so far, Saki's a little leery. Our landlords are very kind and I am excited to have a little backyard to garden in. We haven't set up our internet yet, not a lot of options out here, but this weekend we are visiting my brother and his wife Camille in San Diego where he is doing an internship. Saki starts work with Weatherford (the same company he was working with before, but different position) on Monday.
