Moore August Fun, Eric and Hannah are home! August 26-29, 2015

Every Wednesday, we get to serve in the Denver Temple as Ordinance Workers.  While Hannah was home she came down with us.  So sweet to have her there with us.  Today, we also had Travis Adams join us.  He recently returned from his mission to Long Beach, California.  It was a treat having him along for the ride and for him to spend the day in the Temple.

After our shift, we headed to the airport to pick up Eric!  He has spent the summer working for Vivint Solar computer designing solar panel placements for homes.  He has loved his job but with school starting again on Monday, he needed a little break and some family time!

We stopped and had dinner on the way home from the airport at Mimi's Cafe.  Thursday, we rode bikes (with Addie in the basket) and went to the movies in Boulder (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.).  After the movie, Mike came home and Eric, Hannah and I headed to Colorado Springs.  We had a fun visit!

Thursday night, we hung out at Ryan and Ali's and watched a scary movie (Shutter Island--edited of course).  Eric is sure loved by all the little nieces and nephews!

On Friday, we stopped to see Tyler's newly renovated office and then met up with everyone for lunch at a Mexican restaurant.

We headed back home after lunch so Eric could spend some time with Dad and Addie and then on Saturday he and Hannah took off for Utah.  It was a whirlwind trip, but still so much fun!!  We were so lucky to have Hannah for 2 1/2 weeks!  Loved every minute of it!

We got back from visiting Todd, Kimiko and Jaxon on Tuesday, August 11th and Hannah came home on Wednesday for a couple of weeks break from BYU in between Summer and Fall Semesters!  Hannah came with me to pick up Addie Rose and bring her home to live with us!

We were thrilled to have Hannah home and thrilled to have this adorable puppy join our family!

Hannah's friend John Wood came up to visit a couple of times during her stay.  They decided being "friends" was good enough for now.

Ryan and Ali came up for a couple of days.  They wanted to go to Water World before it closed so we kept Sadie and Claire with us so they could really enjoy themselves.  Addie did really well with the little kids and they did really well with her!

 While Sadie and Claire were here, Princess Anna, from Frozen stopped by for a little tea party!  Sadie was in Princess heaven!!

Our friend, Elizabeth Wheelwright, played the part of Anna.  She was wonderful and stayed in character the entire time.  Such a special treat!

That night after Ryan and Ali came home, we had a fire and lots of singing!

We made some yummy meals while Hannah was home including this delicious Shrimp BBQ dish!

Hannah and I went to the Flatirons Mall one day and ended our successful shopping trip with this delicious treat!

We took Addie on her first mountain adventure and headed up to Brainard Lake for a little hiking and a picnic.  What a beautiful summer day in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

The married kids met up with some of their college friends (and cousins Brandon and Amanda) for Fantasy Football and started their weekend at a Rockies game.  We got to have the kids for the evening.

 These cute couples have acclimated well to being Coloradans!  We love having them here!

 These kids love riding these little bikes!  Our sweet neighbors, Ernie and Annette, loan us the big wheel and trike whenever the kids come up!

They had a lot of fun playing in this pool and riding the bikes around the patio in the mist from the hose!  They are easily entertained!!  So much fun!

I got to help with a bridal shower for our sweet friend, Ali Sessions.  Hannah is good friends with her sister Robin, so she came to the shower with me.  It was a lovely shower.  I made the chalkboard signs.  I think they turned out pretty cute!

We decided to take Addie on a bike ride to see how she would do.  I tethered her in with her leash and she did great--just tried a couple of times to jump out!  Haha!

We ended our ride in Prospect where we listened to music, ate delicious shaved ice and ran into our good friends, Scott and Mona Jones and a lot of their extended family including Nick and his girlfriend, Sam, and her giant dog!
