We love our little cottage by the creek so much.  It's wonderful for each season.  I envisioned these very pillows in my mind and found them on sale at Target.  Don't you love when that happens?  Melecia made the "Believe" pillow for our Christmas a few years ago--still love it!!

Part of our year of firsts included getting our Christmas tree on our own without kids.  We walked into the Blue Ribbon Farm and this was the first tree we saw.  Took us about 5 minutes to get it tied on the car and we were done.  Wow, we have never gotten a tree that fast before and we loved it!

Our sweet friend, Becky Wheelwright, was celebrating her birthday, but her husband, our Bishop, was out of town, so we had Becky and Elizabeth over for dinner.  The candle was the only one we could come up with!  Happy Birthday, dear Becky!

Our YW gingerbread house activity at Sister Shafter's house.  The girls had a blast and created some pretty sweet houses!

Paul sent us this picture of he and Ellie at their brand new Five Guys!  They love Five Guys!  Whenever we go to our Five Guys here in Longmont, we think of Paul and Joni!  We had some fun times there with them. 

Hannah had the thrill of a lifetime.  She and Eric got to go see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert and their guest performer was Hannah's favorite, Alfie Boe!  She was in heaven.  There was a lottery for the tickets and we all signed up and tried to get them and finally Jaimee was able to score some and gave them to Hannah and Eric.  After the show, they went to Deseret Book and Hannah got to meet Alfie in person.  She was so happy!

Ho, ho, ho!  Tis the season to be jolly and what a wonderful time of the year it is!  Here's little Jaxon starting the season off right!
