My New Do

When I started planning this kit there were grand plans for my daughter to get her second ever hair cut. That's right she's 6.5 years old and had only had 1 hair cut. Her first haircut was the day before she turned 4 years old. Her hair grows pretty slow and nobody wanted to cut her beautiful curls (except her) so it took a while for me to give in to her. After not finding any first haircut or hair related kits I liked I knew I had to make one. Unfortunately her second haircut got sidetracked by finding out she had caught lice at school and now she refuses to get her hair cut, my how the roles have changed.

September Blog Train - Sugar & Spice

Long time no see!! I know I have been next to non-existent since my surgery in February, all is healing well with that I'm happy to say. I came back to designing officially in July but passively as I have been spending a lot of time this summer with my daughter. Now that she's back to school it's nose to the grindstone time!

My first kit back is an extension of the Blog Train colours. It took me a bit to find inspiration (well and it took figuring out it was pink not red) but I really love how this posh, modern, mommy-to-be kit turned out. I hope you like it to, the kit is 50% off September 15 - 21.

Ice Princess

Has your life been taken over by the wintery world of Frozen like mine has? I can't even really blame my daughter because I love it just as much as she does. Princess of the Month : Warrior Princess

Sorry we're rolling this out a bit late this month. Cold season is taking everyone by storm. We had our first snow yesterday, Deirdre is enjoying it but me not so much. The Princess for October is Mulan. Mulan who teaches us to be true to yourself, blossom in the face of adversity and to let your challenges inspire you.

Can you believe it's almost Autumn already? We are in the middle of  Birthday Season around here, Deirdre and I have both had ours and Robs is next week. The picture I used in my layout was actually a couple years ago but she looks so sweet lol. The Princess for September is Rapunzel. Rapunzel who teaches us to find the courage within ourselves and it's okay to let your curiosity get the best of you sometimes.

Are you ready for Summer?  I can't believe how fast the year is going! Today is my anniversary, so that's exciting. 4 years. The Princess for June is Tiana. In case you missed it last month I've changed the names of my kits just to be a little more careful of Copyright Infringement. Hope you had a great holiday weekend if it was one where you live. This year is just going by so very fast. How are you liking this Princess of the Month project so far?
