Temple Square

Friday evening we met my family in Salt Lake City for dinner and to see the temple lights. It had been a few years since we had been to the lights so I was excited! My dad treated us all to dinner at Olive Garden and it was so delicious! We then all braved the freezing cold and walked around the temple to see the Christmas lights. The girls did surprisingly well and had a blast walking around with everyone. Greyson stayed nice and warm and sound asleep in the stroller. Thanks for the fun night family! We love spending time with them!!

Cousin Time

December 22 we headed up to Kaysville to be with Winwards. First we went over to Emily and Devin's for lunch. Devin fried a chicken and it was delicious!! We of course had fun with Anna and Clara too. Clara watched me do McKinley's hair and then wanted her's done as well. I would finish one hair style and then she would come back on my lap and want me to do another. We sure love her! We then went over to Winward's to make candy and let the girls sleepover at Grandma and Pops ' house with all the cousins.
While the girls were having their cousin sleepover we went to dinner with Sarah and Matt, Josh and Becky, and Steve and Natalie. It was really fun to be with all of them. The girls had fun eating pizza, watching movies, doing a talent show, and getting new jammies from Grandma and Pops. Joe, Greyson, and I slept over at Josh and Becky's. We watched Warrior with them and Steve and Natalie. We had so much fun hanging out with them! Greyson slept great, Jayden and Jackson were adorable, and they made us a yummy breakfast.
We then went over to the Hammer's for haircuts! We love our time with the Hammers!
Next up... Temple Square with the Parsons!

Christmas Activities

My mom got the girls tickets to a princess performance at the Provo Towne Center. It was a fun, interactive play and the girls got to make a few Christmas crafts at the end. Thanks Grandma!
Then while at the mall we of course had to see Santa! He was so kind and listened so intently to the girls as they described what they wanted.
Joe also took the girls on the Christmas mall train!
We also found some amazing deals at The Gap and bought the baby boy quite a bit of clothes! We then went and visited Gram and Gramps and the girls of course loved playing with their toys. It was a fun day with Grandma and Alysha! Later that night the whole family went to The Hale Center Theater for the Christmas Carol. Joe stayed home with Greyson so I could take the girls and be with my family. It was fun to have Kylie there for the first time, I think she enjoyed it! Or maybe she just enjoyed sitting on Jesse's lap the whole time. :)

Christmas Day

Oh Christmas Morning!!! I woke up first and finally at 7:00 woke up the girls and the rest of my family to go see if Santa came!

Santa did come! The girls were thrilled to see a Barbie scooter and Rollerblades from him! They were also pretty excited that he at the milk and cookies they left for him.
My parents surprised us all with beach towels and pictures of a beach on the TV! We are all going to Cabo sometime in the fall, wahoo!!! Thanks Mom and Dad, we are super excited for another family beach vacation! My parents gave each couple a big present as well- Alysha and Jesse got a sound system, Ryan got a TV, Brent and Tasha got luggage, and they gave me a big painting and helped me buy Joe's iPad. They are so kind and we all appreciate everything they do and how much they love Christmas! :)
Joe also surprised me with an iPhone 4S! It has an HD video camera and that's what I wanted for Christmas. Now I will always have a video camera with me and it will be always be charged. It has been fun to video tape everyday stuff very easily. Thanks sweety!
Alysha and my parents surprised Jesse with his first flight lesson! After all the presents were opened my Dad said, "Hey, I see a couple stockings on the tree still. Why don't McKinley and Kylie go see what is in them." They opened them up and McKinley freaked out!! He gave them both an iPod Touch. It was seriously the best Christmas reaction ever! Thanks Dad! He loaded them both with their games and music. They even had their favorite color of case on them. McKinley's does video, pictures, and FaceTime and messages if she is on WiFi. My parents are getting FaceTimed a lot now! :) What a fun Christmas surprise!
Greyson was a little fussy that morning, I think there was just too much going on. But he definitely had a great Christmas as well!
We had such a wonderful Christmas! Joe was so sweet and bought me so many nice gifts. He is so thoughtful and great and buying the perfect gifts. The girls were definitely spoiled and my parents gave us some great presents that we love! We sure appreciate all the thoughtful gifts we received! It was so fun watching the girls open their presents and try really hard to be patient while waiting for their turns.

We then had our yummy traditional Christmas breakfast with Gram and Gramps and then headed off to sacrament meeting with my family.
We then hurried home and changed to continue the Christmas fun with the Winwards. I didn't take very many pictures but it was a little crazy, but so fun, with everyone. We sure love when everyone is together! We opened presents, ate dinner, and played games all night! Thanks Winwards!
I am always sad on Christmas night because I love Christmas so much! We love the holidays and are so grateful that we get to spend them with our families.
