Teething

I have no photos to post this week because Ledger has been teething on and off since Father's Day. He is pretty miserable at times :( He has had a runny nose, diaper rash, he's taking short naps, waking up several times at night and is eating every 3 hours which is unlike him. We are using baby Tylenol which seems to help. He hasn't cut any teeth but hopefully this will be over very soon. Poor guy!

5 Months Old

On Saturday Ledger turned 5 Months old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. He is developing so much personality and he continually cracks us up :)

Ledger is...
Still wearing 0-3 size clothes
Wearing Size 1 diapers
Drooling buckets
Loves to babble
Rolls over when he feels like it
Interested in the dogs
Chews on as many fingers as he can fit in his mouth
Pulls on his ear when he's sleepy
Starting to play with his feet

Marq bought Ledger this bike shirt before he was born, before we even knew he was a boy :)

Aunt Tahna made him this ADORABLE bike quilt which we all LOVE!

Family Photos

Marq's very talented sister Kim is in town this week on vacation. She was sweet enough to squeeze us in for a photoshoot this morning and I am SO SO grateful! As you can see Kim is an amazing photographer and I dread having anyone else do our photos. I think they turned out beautiful :)

Happy Fathers Day

To celebrate Marq's first official Father's Day we took our first camping trip as a family of 5 :) We bought a truck and camper last fall so that we could camp a little more comfortably this year with the baby.

Marq's sisters came up for a yummy dutch oven dinner, campfire and smores :) Ledger did better than I thought, he stayed up long enough to see the campfire.

We camped overnight at the Granite Flats campground up American Fork Canyon. Marq's sisters came up Saturday night for a dutch oven dinner and campfire :) The weather was beautiful on Saturday, it poured that night after we went to bed but we were warm and dry in our camper. I love the sound of rain on the roof!

Since it was still cold and raining Sunday morning Ledger hung out in the camper watching his Baby Einstein movie. He is so funny, he gets so focused.

Happy Father's Day to Marq! He is a wonderful dad :) Chevy, Koda & Ledger all love him very very much!!!

Marq & I are both blessed with wonderful dads and we love them so much. My dad has always been a great example to me, he is hardworking, loyal and responsible. I think I get my stubbornness from him :) Bob has always been very supportive and loving. Happy Fathers Day to a wonderful father and 2 amazing grandpas!

Car Show

Today was Ledger's first car show. Marq put his Fiero in a local Pontiac carshow hoping to get some bites (it is now FOR SALE!)

Lunch Date

Marq has been so busy all week working on his car, getting it ready for a car show. He took the day off work today and took Ledger and I to lunch. One of my favorite places to eat is downtown, it's called Oasis Cafe and they have the best Vegan Chocolate Cake!!!

Taco Amigo

Today was Ledger's first trip to Taco Amigo! My favorite fast food joint ever!

Taco Amigo is sentimental to me. Marq hates the food but I keep trying to explain to him it's not just the food, it's tradition. We grew up eating Taco Amigo (aka T.A.) and my family still loves it. I to eat there whenever I get the chance, much to Marq's dismay. It is one of the things we agree to disagree on :)

Here are Ledger and 3 of his favorite cousins. He can't enjoy the food yet and unfortunately I am still "dairy-free" so I can't enjoy my usual Bean Burrito with Cheese or the Oreo shake but I look forward to sharing one with him someday.
